Janet Tempest – Founder of Yoga and Crystal Awareness Training Centre (previously known as Essence of Love Yoga and Healing Centre)
After a long break from working as a Reiki Master, I was looking for a way back home to my “Self” and another way to be of Service to others. I was drawn to study The Crystal Light Healing™ Teachers course and it awakened my body profoundly on a cellular level and brought me back into balance on an energetic level. CLH was instrumental in helping me remember the deep joy of working with crystals and energy healing. The journey back to healing was just beginning and I felt an overwhelming desire to continue to find an even deeper connection with my “Self”, a way to embody joy, detachment, peace!
I was guided to study Radiant Light Yoga, a form of Hatha Yoga. Yoga has had a profound effect on my life, especially due to the deep commitment to practice yoga and meditation on a daily basis. The practice of Yoga brings with it a deep understanding of the inter-connectedness of all life and develops great compassion for all life forms, including compassion for the “Self”.
The combination of crystal, energy work and yoga has expanded my consciousness and my sensitivity to energy in a way that I would never have imagined. It has helped me to learn the value of being PRESENT, for in the present moment there is FREEDOM!
My purpose in this life is to be of service to others. Currently I run Yoga classes and Crystal Light Healing Workshops™ throughout the year at several locations on the Sunshine Coast.
