Whilst the current digital money age may hold many conveniences, have you ever stopped to think how the system could in fact work against you? What may be the ultimate price of convenience?
Take for instance the discovery of nuclear-fission— within the right hands it could be considered as an amazing advancement in energy production, but in the wrong hands it lead to the destructive atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
It is not inconceivable then to consider that digital money, particularly in the form of CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) could be sold as a panacea, yet could end up enslaving people within a system of control. Could technocracy place us all within a digital prison? The answer is YES if recent events in China are anything to go by!

CBDC is in the pipeline Globally
Many countries around the world have been exploring CBDC for many years now— though in the last year or two these investigations have gone full speed ahead.
This EuroNews article gives insight into which countries are using, launching or piloting CBDCs. Around 100 countries are exploring CBDCs at one level or another. Some researching, some testing, and a few already distributing CBDC to the public.
In the Bahamas, the Sand Dollar—the local CBDC—has been in circulation for more than a year.
Sweden’s Riksbank has developed a proof of concept and is exploring the technology and policy implications of CBDC.
In China, the digital renminbi [called e-CNY,] continues to progress with more than a hundred million individual users and billions of yuan in transactions.
And, just last month, the Federal Reserve issued a report that noted that “a CBDC could fundamentally change the structure of the U.S. financial system.” and the US Dept of Commerce issued a report “Responsible advancement of US Competitiveness in Digital Assets”. The White House in Sept 2022 posted this update on their website ‘Technical Possibilities for a U.S. Central Bank Digital Currency‘. In November 2022 it was also announced that the NewYork Fed would be running a 12 week test with 10 US Banks of a Digital Money Platform.
The Reserve Bank of Australia is researching CBDC.
Bank of England is moving forward with CBDC & just last week issued a supplier opportunity for a CBDC sample wallet— key deliverables for the project are creating a mobile app for iOS and Android, a website for the wallet, an example merchant website and the back-end infrastructure to serve the wallet website and apps while also storing user data and transaction history. The UK Chancellor, Jeremy Hunt, has announced that a consultation to explore the case for a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) will be brought forward to take place in the next few weeks. During the festive holidays so that people’s attention is elsewhere perhaps?
Cash is King & 15 Minute Cities
Cash is certainly THE preferred method for exchange that not only does cash provides anonymity, but also provides freedom of commerce for our future.
In recent times we have seen what happened to the Canadian Truckers & GiveSendGo, and even the current freezing of Bitchute accounts by HSBC, with many other individuals and groups around the world having their accounts frozen & even closed without explanation. Remember the outrage when PayPal started freezing accounts too ?
With 15 minute cities considered THE penultimate Urban Plan of our future— for example Paris is seen as a demo, Melbourne has its plan for 20 minute neighbourhoods, Brisbane is looking at the Paris model — it doesn’t take much to envision how CBDC could be used to control your movements & purchases beyond your 15 min zone (let alone even within your zone). C40s build back better is an implementation guide for creating 15 minute cities around the globe, and WEF (World Economic Forum) has this to say and the UN (United Nations) has this to say too.
Oxfordshire County Council (in the UK) is rolling out a trial in 2024 where the city will be demarcated into 6 zones (districts???), and movements of residents are restricted within 15 minute zones. AI numberplate recognition technology will be deployed and fines will be in place for those that flout the rules. It’s not hard to see how these kind of trials could be tweeked to ensure enforcement. Climate change 15 minute city lockdowns maybe?
CBDC could easily restrict purchases to ‘aid’ compliance with only travelling within your zone. Your Electric car could be remotely turned off if you break the rules. Or maybe your ‘carbon quota’ of purchases have been exceeded so your CBDC account is frozen for a week via State/Nationwide/or even global surveillance of your spending habits.
