Our October NEW MOON falls in the Zodiac sign of LIBRA. A Libra new moon is about finding balance in our lives… and then through our hearts serving something greater than us. Relationships are the theme for our Libra NEW MOON, the relationship you have with yourself & the relationship you have with others. What do you serve, what is your greatest devotion in all of your relationships ?
As I was putting this blog post together, I reflected back on my blog post from last year – for our October 2017 Libra New Moon. Interesting how the themes are EXACTLY the same today as they were a year ago… just different players in the story. This is what I wrote:
Uprising of the Feminine… Women (& Men) have been coming forward on a daily basis with their stories of assault, rape, humiliation and degradation at the hand of those in powerful positions.
Many people around the world this week have felt the pain inside them, as ‘this story’ is also ‘their story’… whereby women (& men) have feared speaking up as the darkest shadow of the Masculine used money, power, greed, manipulation & abuse to forcibly control Women. But also, what is coming to light is that the darkest shadow of the Feminine within our culture where it has relinquished its own power by being submissive through choking silence and numbing fear.
But now we are seeing the warrior Goddess being unleashed. Women & Men from all walks of life are reflecting on the astrocities inflicted on the Feminine, personal stories, collective stories, stories of shame, guilt, hurt, rage & grief. There is a collective uprising, ENOUGH is ENOUGH, the old story, the submission, the suppression, it all ENDS here !
As New York Times best selling author John Gerzema discussed in his book ‘The Athena Doctrine: Feminine Values are the Future’ (I mentioned this book in my latest IGTV Channel Video)
‘The Feminine is the operating system of the 21st Century. Compassion, fierce tenderness, intuition, collaboration, empathy, expression, flexibility, vulnerability… these are the values that will drive our economies of the future. The feminine will change the way with live, work, love… and ultimately deepen our relationships, unify the great divide between each other and foster more meaningful and purposeful lives’.
So for me… this will be my devotion for this NEW MOON in LIBRA. Listening- what am I willing to hear in order to bring people to together through my words. Action- what am I willing to open to receive in order to help unify the great divide through my own actions. Seeing- what I am willing to open my soulfull eyes too, such that I can understand, visualise & co-create a unified story in our hearts.
This most certainly will be one of the major themes that I feel will be weaving through my upcoming October 2018 Heart Retreat that starts this coming weekend… what an honour it will be to walk this path with our group.
