Barbara Loe Fisher is the CoFounder & President of the 39-year old non-profit charity National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC).
As a mother of a Vaccine injured child, Barbara cofounded the non-profit NVIC is an independent clearinghouse for information on diseases and vaccine science, policy, law and the ethical principle of informed consent. NVIC publishes information about vaccination and health to encourage educated decision-making.
NVIC does not make vaccine use recommendations. NVIC supports the availability of all preventive health care options and the legal right for individuals to make informed, voluntary health choices for themselves and their children.
Vaccination and Censorship: The Truth Will Set Us Free
On December 22, 2020, a non-profit limited company based in Great Britain that calls itself the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) published a report entitled The Anti-Vaxx Playbook.
This Playbook contains false and misleading information about the 5th International Public Conference on Vaccination, which was sponsored by the NVIC, and held online in October 2020. Promotion of the CCDH report resulted in the spreading of fake news and misinformation by mainline media outlets in Great Britain and the U.S.
As a result, NVIC has experienced censorship (eg Facebook Page deleted) which negates the ability for people to explore, critique, publicly debate and openly search for truth when making decisions about their Health.
