This reLOVEutionary Aquarian New Moon of flow is awakening our Humanitarian Heart to discover ‘the beauty within the darkness of this world’, and that beauty is YOU.    No Government, Media, or external force has control over your life.   When we move into a state of FLOW with our Heart & Higher-Selves, and courageously align with that FLOW, we fully express our grandest potential, the beauty of the Human Spirit.

This New Moon also marks our entry into the Chinese New Year of the Water Tiger. 

Aquarius New Moon Energy

AQUARIUS is an Air Sign (Fixed), and is ruled by Uranus & Sirius. Aquarius relates to the Universal Gateway Chakra & the 11th House of Community, Humanitarian Pursuits, Hope, Friendship, Groups & Society.   Aquarius loves to Dream & Think Big, envisions ‘out-there’ solutions to life’s problems and loves to reach far & wide with her juicy-big humanitarian heart.

During a NEW MOON, the side of the moon that remains invisible to us here on Earth is being illuminated by the Sun.  Thus our own ‘invisible’ side, our inner feelings, emotions and desires are also being illuminated during a New Moon.  During this illumination, we are given a window of opportunity to start a fresh, let go of the energy of the previous cycle and set our intentions, dreams & inner-most desires into conscious action.

With our Aquarius New Moon also welcoming in Chinese New Year, you maybe driven to start new projects, get new initiatives off the ground, or be inspired to flow into a completely new arena of life experience.   Mercury is still retrograde and won’t be going direction until February 4/5, so patience maybe needed as holdups or delays may become apparent until after that date.

In addition, Saturn in Aquarius is only a few degrees away from our February New Moon, and I feel this energy will be felt right into 2023.    Saturn (life lessons, wisdom, karma, responsibility) moved into Aquarius in December 2020, and will transit out of Aquarius into Pisces in March 2023.  

Saturn is a timekeeper that weaves the akashics of Earth’s evolution – from her inception through to the unfoldment of her grander purpose within creation. Saturn has us reflect on our learnings of the past, including past lives & Earths ancestry, enabling us to make wisdom choices in the present about our future.   Saturn is about structure, form, and reflects the governing bodies of our world.

With Saturn in Aquarius we learn that the ultimate authority over your life is always YOU.  No Government, Media, or external force has control over your life – this hierarchy structure was experienced through Saturn in Capricorn.   This Saturn in Aquarius transit will enable us to discover the true value of the collective, and how we can live FREE lives when we take personal responsibilities for ourselves and not hand our lives over to external forces of control.

Chinese New Year 2022 – Year of the Water Tiger

Our Aquarius New Moon welcomes in our Chinese New Year 2022 – Year of the Water Tiger.   Chinese New Year is a spring festival that begins on the second new Moon after Winter Solstice, with the Sun and Moon in Aquarius.   Hence in the Gregorian Calendar the date of the Chinese New Year differs year to year.  Celebrations last for 15 days and end with the Lantern Festival at the full moon.

The Chinese Calendar is the Solilunar Calendar – which means it integrates our solar cycles (revolution of Earth around the Sun) and our Lunar Cycles (moons movement around Earth).  This Chinese New Year will be the 4719th Chinese New year in the Chinese Calendar.

The Chinese Zodiac is based on a 12 year cycle, and each of the years relate to a particular animal – Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog & Pig.  The sign you are born under will potentiate personality characteristics, challenges, learnings & gifts.  

In addition to a persons birth animal sign, in Chinese Element Theory, each animal zodiac is associated with one of five elements:  Metal, Wood, Water, Fire or Earth… thus each combination could only occur every 60 years (5 x 12).  Hence the last date of the Water Tiger was in 1962.  Each Element also affects a persons personality and characteristics.

Water Tiger Energy

Water is all about flow, intuition, moving into uncharted waters, wearing away ‘old’ energy, and deep feeling, emotional sensitivity and transformation into the call of the moment – think how water can change from ice, to liquid to steam.  Not to mention the 4th phase of water consciousness.And after two years of metal energy (2020 & 21), in 2022 & 23 we now enter two years of blessed flow through the Water Element.

And when we combine the roar of the Tiger with Water… powerful experiences can unfold within our lives.

The Tiger is not just a powerful, courageous creature but also a very intuitive one too. It has a keen sixth sense and is able to perceive things in its environment that we cannot.  In the year of the Tiger, we can take on some of these intuitive skills and use them to help guide our decisions forward. By trusting our inner voice, and paying attention to the subtle cues of our environment, we may notice the signs and clues the Universe is sending to guide us.

This year will be a year to ‘own your energy’,  command how your ‘choose’ to express your energy into the world, and letting go of the old stories of not being enough… this is THE YEAR to unleash your inner Tiger.   It is a year of patience – Tiger energy know when to pounce – and a year to flow into new landscapes of experiences.    Where will you let the roar of the Tiger take you in 2022?
