Following last months Partial Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on the October 25, we have been travelling through an Eclipse Portal which comes to a close with our Total Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on the Full Moon of November 8.
Our Full Moon TOTAL Lunar Eclipse is about reclaiming yourself, reclaiming your power, reclaiming the soul given gifts & freedoms you were born with. And from this grander Source of creation, feeling into your own Heart Values, and making the changes in your life that not only uphold your values, but also weave an environment where freedom & vitality is not something you ask permission for, it is what YOU experience because YOU have created a life from this eternal Source.
With Venus again playing a KEY role, what ever was unlocked deep in your psyche during last months Solar Eclipse will now be ready to be healed, actioned or released— the sky’s the limit really, she is ready to rise! But the stars show this will require dedication, discipline and conscious action on your behalf to make it happen.

Taurus Full Moon Energy
When the Sun & Moon oppose each other on a Full Moon, the tug-of-war creates both an uncomfortable friction but also a greater amplification of vision & potential possibility. A time to let go of what may not be serving the grander vision of your Soul, and gifting yourself permission to nourish & cherish your life in tender ways.
Taurus is an Earth sign and is ruled by the sensual Goddess of love & beauty Venus… so the Taurus vibe gets all oozy in the pleasures in life— good food, sensual touch, comforts… as well as a deep love of material treasures.
Such that the Taurus Full Moon takes you deep to question— when was the last time you had your bare feet upon the Earth and the Sun beaming on every square inch of your body? Raindrops falling on your forehead? Experienced the flutter of a butterfly in the breeze? Or the wind pricking up the hairs on your skin?
All of these things are FREE. They are gifts from the Earth and she longs to share them with you. So this Full Moon, ask yourself the question ‘Are you letting yourself receive her sensual pleasures & infinite abundance’? Could your luck of abundance in your physical world (be it money as a physical unit of measurement), be correlated to your inability to receive that which is gifted to you through Earth LOVE for free ?
There are many astral aspects colouring our Full Moon— namely we have a TOTAL Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse, Venus & Uranus are conjuncting the Sun & Moon respectively, and there is a T-Square with Saturn. I will talk more about these further below.
You may also find yourself during this Full Moon Total Eclipse, reflecting back to the Taurus/Scorpio eclipse pairings back in May 2022 this year (Taurus Solar Eclipse & Scorpio Lunar Eclipse)— and anything than remained unresolved, lacked clarity, or possibly was no fully dealt with will be cycling around again for complete.

TOTAL Lunar Eclipse – Blood Moon
Lunar Eclipses & Solar Eclipses come in pairs—a couple of weeks ago we had a Partial Solar Eclipse whereby the Moon moved between the Earth and Sun, partly obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun.
Now on our November 8 FULL Moon, we have our TOTAL Lunar Eclipse– whereby the Earth passes between the Sun & the Moon, blocking the Suns rays from FULLY reaching the Moon… thus the Moon will be fully cast within Earth’s shadow.
Here is a map of who will be able to see the eclipse (we can see it here in Australia, yeh!!!) plus North/East Europe, Asia, North America, Much of South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic, Antarctica.
For those able to see the TOTAL Lunar Eclipse, the Moon will appear red— which is why it is also referred to as a BLOOD MOON. During the alignment of the Sun, Earth & Moon, light from the Sun glimmers through Earth’s atmosphere (atmosphere extends approximately 80km above the Earth) & the green-to-blue light of the visible light spectrum is filtered out, giving way to the deeper orangey-red tones of the spectrum. This reddish light is then refracted to the surface of the Moon. Amazing huh!
Energetically during our Total Lunar Eclipse, as the Moon is fully sitting in Earth’s shadow (ie unable to reflect the I AM Light of the Sun), a window opens and we are drawn into ourselves, the part that we don’t show to the world, the emotional and deepest part of our psyche. The word ECLIPSE comes from the Greek word “ekleipsis” meaning “to abandon, to leave, to vanish” – and that’s exactly what we may experience during a Lunar Eclipse – the desire to surrender and let go of parts of our self that limit our greater potential.
A Lunar Eclipse provides a powerful opportunity to release deep-seated wounds, move beyond old fears and to transcend negative patterns or traits within the shadow self. It is time to ECLIPSE anything that maybe holding you back.
How we go about eclipsing this Full Moon is being coloured by various contributing astral aspects.
Venus, Mercury, Uranus & Saturn
Venus & Mercury are conjunct the Sun, whilst Uranus is conjunct the Moon, and then bringing all of these forces together is the T-Square with Saturn... phew!
We are very much in a delicious VENUSIAN influence following the October 22 VENUS Star in Libra (a period of Feminine Flow), and Venus played a key role in last Months Solar Eclipse too— softening the intensity of the eclipse through compassion & kindness of Heart essence.
Venus is asking us to reach deep into our Heart this Full Moon Eclipse, an invitation to ‘hear’ through MERCURY (retrograde) the deep LOVE & song of the universe that exists within us. Transformation can only happen when you CHOOSE to shift/change. And the shift doesn’t have to be a painful one— it can be done with reverence, with tenderness, all infused with luminous JOY in the knowingness that you are worth it!
URANUS the planet of rebellion & freedom is conjunct our Full Moon in Taurus, however with it’s retrograde aspect will be experienced more within our dreams, day-visions, and inner-yearnings of Soul. We are being shown that freedom can be OURS when we architect a life built upon foundations that correlate with our values. And what happens if we don’t… well then when Uranus moves direct this titan of the heavens will do if for us!
I feel the aspect that brings all of this together is the T-Square of the Sun & Moon with SATURN. Saturn is about responsibility, learning from the past and transforming this knowledge into Wisdom. The FREEDOM is ours, the ability to architect GENEROUS, VIBRANT & ABUNDANT lives is ours too— but Saturn reminds us not to leave it up to others to make it happen— these outcomes are up to us to co-create.
Lunar Eclipse Full Moon Potential
This TOTAL Lunar Eclipse is a powerful wave of energy that helps to bring our 2022 year to a close with a greater sense of clarity & understanding. The world is changing at a rapid rate, and whilst it may feel like freedoms are being lost, or the future looks a little bleak— all of these are stories of someone elses version of reality.
