The personal planets – Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus & Mars – move quickly through the Zodiac and represent our individual personal characteristics and experiences.
The outer planets – Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune & Pluto – take a much longer time to transit the Sun, hence they shape the big picture themes of our lives. Please find below a key summary of outer planetary transits during 2025 & how their celestial vibrations will influence our lives this year.
Jupiter in Gemini
25/26 May 2024 to 9/10 June 2025
12 Years to transit all 12 Houses of the Zodiac
Jupiter is the planet of expansion, luck, abundance and grandest expression of the sign it is transiting. Jupiter moved out of Taurus and into Gemini in May 2024. What ever was happening in your life during the last Jupiter-Gemini transit in 2012-2013 will be coming back up for review/reflection during 2024-2025.
Gemini in latin means ‘twins’, and this sign is represented by the two twins Castor & Pollux the brightest stars of Gemini constellation. Together they represent duality, night & day, dark & light, physical & spiritual etc. Life expresses itself through duality, and during a Jupiter transit of Gemini we maybe become more aware of our bifurcations, these polarities may even become more pronounced, but also we have the capacity to integrate the two more deeply during this transit, just like the Yin-Yang symbol, find a way toward holism.
Gemini is an air sign and is ruled by Mercury (& Moon). Gemini relates to the Sacral Chakra & the 3rd House of Communication, Writing, Education, Teaching/Learning, Neighbourhood & Short Journeys. When Jupiter transits through Gemini, we may see an expansion of all things ‘mind’ such as NEW communication mediums being birthed, new or re-envisioned social platforms or ways of connecting, and AI could move to a new found level of intelligent sentience— maybe even becoming self-aware? We cannot rule out either the possibility of AI creating it’s own intelligent language that humans will be unable to decipher.
We may become more curious about higher possibilities during the Jupiter-Gemini transit, how far we can push the envelope of unseen worlds, we may even make contact with other life-forms. Jupiter-Gemini will have us awaken to new ideas, see opportunities that didn’t appear to exist before, and maybe see the world through ‘half-glass-full’ lenses. Gemini can get a bit scattered with all that big-picture thinking, so do ensure you choose wisely and see those big ideas flooding your way through to completion, or you may find you will filled with great ideas in 2024, yet haven’t achieved anything by years end.
Jupiter will stay in Gemini until June 2025, then will move into Cancer.
Jupiter in Cancer
9/10 June 2025 to 30 June 2026
12 Years to transit all 12 Houses of the Zodiac
Jupiter is the planet of abundance and luck, and expands the energy of what ever Zodiac sign it is transiting. In the shadow, Jupiter can also influence over-indulgence, excess, and maybe taking expansion a tad too far!
Jupiter moves out of Gemini and into Cancer on the 9/10 June 2025. What ever was happening in your life during the last Jupiter-Cancer transit in 2013-14 will be coming back up for review/reflection during 2025/26.
Cancer is a water sign, and is ruled by the Moon, representing the energy of Mother, Family, Fertility, Subconscious, Parental Genetics, Emotions, Nurturing, Psychic, Protective & Imaginative.
When Jupiter transits through Cancer for 12 months, all of the above energetics of Cancer are felt more strongly. This will represent a period of emotional expansion, family connections, and a sense of home. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, meaning it thrives in this sign and expresses its energies with ease and abundance. This transit amplifies the potential for growth, abundance, and emotional fulfilment.
During this transit, you may feel a deepening family bonds, strengthening relationships with family members, exploring ancestry, and creating meaningful traditions. You may feel called to focus on emotional healing, prioritizing self-care, therapy, and activities that nurture emotional well-being. Jupiter in Cancer heralds a time of gratefulness of home life, home improvements, or creating a sanctuary that reflects personal needs. You may even relocate, if you feel your home does not express these qualities. It is also a time of trusting your intuition more deeply, allowing your intuition to guide decision making.
This period encourages embracing comfort, care, and the wisdom found in feelings. It’s a time to nurture oneself and loved ones, fostering a foundation for lasting fulfilment. Trusting in emotional security can guide the path to abundance
Saturn in Pisces & Aries
Saturn in Pisces – 7/8 March 2023 to 24/25 May 2025
Saturn in Aries – 24/25 May 2025 to 1/2 September 2025
[Noting Saturn moves retrograde in Aries on 13/14 July 2025]
Saturn retrograde re-enters Pisces – 1/2 September 2025 to 13/14 February 2026
Saturn in Aries – 13/14 February 2026 to 12/13 April 2028
29.5 Years to transit all 12 Houses of the Zodiac
Saturn (life lessons, wisdom, karma, responsibility) moved into Pisces (Sensitivity, Intuition, Psychic, Dreamy, Escapist, Idealistic, Creative, Artistic, Charitable, Sympathetic & Impressionable) in March 2023, having spent previous time both in Aquarius.
Saturn LOVES structure & organisation. As the second largest planet surrounded by rings at the equator, her beauty comes to life through our boundaries, she is the epitome of orderliness, systemisation & limits.
However Pisces is feeling, intuitive, dreamy, psychic and often runs in the opposite direction of structure far far away from any BOUNDARIES!!! YET… when Pisces embodies structure the grandest expression of Piscean traits can flourish. Though usually not without a struggle!
Saturn in Pisces invites in a major frequency shift of the planet— and this may feel darn uncomfortable at first. As dishonesty or shady dealings of systems comes to light (think Governments, Media, Pharma, Health Industry etc), this could lead people to feel disillusioned, betrayed, or even angry that the wool had been pulled over their eyes. Saturn through Pisces could have you feel a sense of relief and promise that change will finally be in the air.
Things will start to dissolve as Saturn moves through Pisces, the water energy will wash away the torrent of many injustices within our structures. A great motto of this time will be: The Truth will set you Free. Those in places of power that have misused their energy, deceived, manipulated, hidden, or even coerced may find that their masks will fall. This even includes those in the spiritual or healing realms that have built empires that fed off peoples weaknesses, and that engage in practices that are disempowering in order to ensure constant cashflow.
In the second half of this Saturn in Pisces transit, leading up to May 2025, NEW more fluid, amiable, freedom/choice charged structures will really take off and flourish. Systems & Structures that revere diversity, and NOT cookie-cutter form or control for controls sake.
Saturn through Pisces maybe an uncomfortable transit for many, as they look for deeper into the meaning of life way beyond what they have been ‘told’ or what they have been ‘led to believe’ from systemic powers of the past. The struggle or suffering this transit may activate can be softened by committing to a spiritual practice or daily ritual that engages your Heart, Soul & sparks your Creativity. Ultimately commit/dedicate your life to something during this transit that empowers you to flow with great change and find comfort in the not-knowing what is coming next! Nature, Earthing and in particular Water will ground you, quell anxiety and help you to flow through this transit.
Between May 2025 and September 2025 we have our FIRST taste of Saturn in Aries, which we haven’t experienced on the planet for 29 years! This is a significant shift as Pisces is the LAST sign of the Zodiac and Aries is the FIRST sign, which means this shift heralds a new chapter or beginning for this next Saturnian cycle on Earth. Saturn in Aries ushers in a period of deep reflection on the roles you take, your responsibilities, what freedom & sovereignty mean to you, and working your way through matters that relate to your ego, impatience & hastiness.
Saturn transiting Aries is known for its challenging nature as Saturn the planet of discipline and structure, moves through the sign of Aries, which is known for its bold and impulsive energy. During this period you may experience a need to balance your natural impulsiveness with a more cautious approach. Saturn in Aries can encourage thoughtful planning before taking action, ensuring that efforts are directed toward meaningful goals. This transit can also highlight areas where you may feel called to take responsibility for past actions or decisions, as Saturn is often associated with karma and lessons learned.
Saturn’s presence in Aries can also bring about a sense of self-reliance and independence, but there’s a risk of becoming overly self-reliant and resistant to cooperation. Balancing these traits can lead to greater success and fulfilment.
In summary, Saturn in Aries is a time to work on self-discipline, assertiveness, and responsibility, while also learning to balance this with bold actions through thoughtful consideration.

84Years to transit all 12 Houses of the Zodiac
Uranus (rebellion, freedom, unconventional, technological advancement, humanitarianism) moved into Taurus (patient, pleasure-loving, material, determined, conservative) in May 2018. Uranus then briefly retrograded back into Aries in December 2018, but now on March 6, 2019, Uranus moves back into Taurus where it will transit for the next 7 years.
So what happens when Uranus transits Taurus for 7 years ? Well these two clash and make some hell of a ruckus— leading to radical changes in the bigger themes of our lives! When Uranus the planet of revolutionary growth / awakening unites with the Taurean vibe of comfort, security and conservatism… Uranus wants change NOW & Taurus doesn’t want to budge… well life as we know it can get turned upside down, inside out in the blink of an eye. Aries is a fire sign, and is ruled by Mars (& Earth), and can be described as Ambitious, Impatient, Assertive, Adventurous, Me & I, Ingenuity, Competition, Risk-Taker, Leadership, Action, Conquest & Pioneer. Overall, Neptune’s transit through Aries invites you to embrace the journey ahead with an open heart and mind and find meaning in your life through creative, spiritual, and transformative pursuits.
Historically, when Neptune last transited through Aries from 1861 to 1875, this was the during the time of the American Civil War, a conflict that began shortly after Neptune entered Aries. This period also saw the unification of Germany and Italy, reflecting the Aries drive for new national identities and bold leadership. Before that, Neptune was in Aries from 1697 to 1711, a time that saw various wars and rebellions in Europe, including the War of Spanish Succession. This period also marked the formation of Great Britain through the Act of Union in 1707, which unified England and Scotland.

Pluto in Aquarius
Pluto re-enters Aquarius (from Capricorn) – 20/21 January 2024
Pluto moves retrograde in Aquarius – 23 May 2024
Pluto retrograde re-enters Capricorn – 2 September 2024
Pluto moved direct in Capricorn – 13 October 2024
Pluto re-enters Aquarius – 20 November 2024
Pluto enters Pisces – 9 March 2043
Pluto retrograde re-enters Aquarius – 31 August 2043
Pluto re-enters Pisces – 19 January 2044
248 Years to transit all 12 Houses of the Zodiac
Pluto moved into Aquarius in March 2023 for next 20 years, though due to retrogrades back in Capricorn, we really only start to experience the full energy of Pluto in Aquarius from November 2024 onwards— now lasting up until 2043/44!!!
When Pluto enters a new sign, humanity/society enters into a entirely new phase, the frequency shift is often huge! We experienced a insightful glimpse of Aquarian energy over 2020-23 with both Saturn & Jupiter having transited through Aquarius— a little setting of the scene & sweet taste of the HUGE changes that will be in store over the next two decades! Plus we got a wee little taste of Pluto in Aquarius from March to June 2023. In 2024 we get another taste of Pluto in Aquarius from January to May 2024, with Pluto finally making its full 20 year Aquarius transit from November 2024.
The last time Pluto transited Aquarius was between 1778 to 1798. During the period the American Constitution was written— ‘We the People’ ring the resounding bells of what Pluto in Aquarius is all about— taking back power from structures outside of ourselves, such as Royalty, Governments & other controlling hierarchical structures. By 1783 United States stopped accepting English convicts, and instead England established a new colony here in Australia in 1787— the trauma of the invasion on our originals has ingrained deep wounds which I believe will receive much healing in restorative ways during this next transit of Pluto through Aquarius.
The French Revolution took place during the last Pluto in Aquarius transit, wth the storming of the Bastille in 1798. Catherine the Great came into power in 1762 (Pluto in Capricorn), but transformed Russia during her Pluto in Aquarius rule through to 1796 via education, creativity and the arts.
Looking upon our history of the past, Pluto in Aquarius engages the WE, and that structures that society has in place serve the people they represent.
Going back in time even further, Pluto transited Aquarius between 1532 and 1554. Key highlights from that time are Copernicus defying the Church and advocating that the Earth & Planets revolve around the Sun (at the time it was thought the planets & Sun revolve around the Earth). And extensive reformations/dissolutions of power within the Roman Catholic church as people spoke out about corruption and embodied change.
Now back into the present…
Aquarius governs technology, science, space, social & political structure and progressive ideas and advancements. History shows us it is a time that heralds revolutions in all these areas, ground-breaking discoveries that change life as we know it! Between big leaps in technology & science, entwined with social change, revolutions and political upheaval, Pluto in Aquarius pushes for change that benefit WE the people through redistributions of wealth, power & freedom of choice.
Aquarius is a revolutionary that takes us to places that we haven’t even thought of yet— hence it is hard to image what life will look like by the time Pluto enters Pisces in 2044! We can anticipate however the emergence of new political parties away from the oligarchy, new advancements in how we move through space, significant changes to genetics, nanotechnology, and trans-humanistic abilities. 4th Industrial Revolution of technology and the push to control vs the peoples uprising for freedom, all intertwined with AI overtaking peoples jobs during the transition.
Pluto in Aquarius is principled, and does not hesitate to call out injustices, corruption or ventures that further inequality. There is hope with this transit, but like every transit their is a shadowed that also calls to be seen & transmuted.
