Our Sun entered the radiant sign of Leo on 23 July and will continue basking in all that golden, heart-led energy until 23 August 2026.
And right in the heart of Leo Season, on 8 August, we arrive at the symbolic peak of an energetic passage known as the Sirian {Lion’s} Gateway Portal.
But here is where things become a little more magical…
The Sirian {Lion’s} Gateway is not simply one sparkly day on the spiritual calendar.
It is an extended passage of energy that begins awakening through the Sun’s annual conjunction with Sirius in early July, builds as the Sun moves into Leo, reaches a powerful threshold around 8:8, and continues to ripple through us until the Sun leaves Leo in late August.
Think of it less like a cosmic door that swings open at midnight on 8 August and slams shut again 24 hours later… and more like a beautiful wave of LIGHT through a golden threshold that gradually rises, washes through us and illuminates something that has been waiting within.
A sacred invitation to remember who you are beneath the doubts, the expectations and all those well-practised ways you may have learned to make yourself smaller.
Because this gateway is not asking you to find more LIGHT.
It is helping you remember that you are already made of it.
And is guiding you consciously participate in the weaving of a higher personal and planetary timeline.
So, what exactly is the Sirian {Lion’s} Gateway?
The Lion’s Gateway brings three powerful energetic bodies into relationship:
- Our Earth, the living, crystalline heart through which we incarnate and embody.
- Our Sun, the golden source of vitality, consciousness and creative expression.
- Sirius, our higher Spiritual Sun and, within my teachings, the Universal Gateway of seventh-dimensional consciousness.
Around 8 August, our Sun is approximately 30 degrees from Sirius in the tropical zodiac, creating an astrological aspect known as a semi-sextile.
Technically, this is an angular relationship between the Sun and Sirius as witnessed from Earth. Yet energetically, I do not feel Earth is simply sitting on the sidelines watching the celestial show unfold.
She is an essential part of it. And so are we!
Earth, our Sun and Sirius create a triangular field of consciousness, an energetic geometry, a Tetrahedron of LIGHT. And humanity anchors the 4th point of the Tetrahedron.
The tetrahedron is aligned with the Fire Element, illumination, the Solar Plexus and the Divine Spark of creation. It carries the sacred geometry of LIGHT entering form, Spirit flowing into matter and cosmic intelligence awakening within the human body.
Which is rather extraordinary when you pause and feel into it.
This is not simply energy happening somewhere “out there” among the stars. It is a living relationship between Earth, our Sun, Sirius and you.
YOU become the meeting place.
The gateway moves through your body, your Heart, your choices, your creativity and your willingness to allow your inner LIGHT to become visible.
Why 8 August?
When the Sun enters Leo around 23 July, it sits approximately 15 degrees from Sirius. By 8 August, that distance has expanded to around 30 degrees, creating the semi-sextile. As the Sun prepares to leave Leo around 23 August, the distance approaches 45 degrees.
So rather than being the only day the Lion’s Gateway exists, 8:8 sits beautifully within the middle of a much longer energetic arc.
8:8 is the sparkling centre point of the wave.
The number 8 carries the vibration of infinity. Turn it on its side and it becomes the lemniscate, the eternal dance between spirit and matter, giving and receiving, Heaven and Earth, the seen and unseen.
In the Tarot, card VIII is traditionally Strength, depicting a woman gently holding the jaws of a lion. She has an lemniscate infinity ‘8’ above her head, and around her waist and the lions neck is wreath of flowers, connecting them both in a lemniscate infinity ‘8’ too.
In other words 8:8.
The woman does not wrestle the lion to the ground, shout affirmations at it or try to prove that she is the boss. She meets it with presence, tenderness and quiet inner authority.
True power is not about gripping life more tightly. It is not about controlling every outcome or forcing ourselves to be fearless.
It is the grace to meet our fear with LOVE.
It is the courage to remain open-hearted.
It is the deep inner knowing that we are safe to be seen, safe to shine and safe to receive.
There is also an extra little wink from the Universe this year. Although 2026 is a Universal 1 Year, the complete date of 8 August 2026 reduces to an 8 vibration:
8 + 8 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 26 → 2 + 6 = 8
This gives us an 8:8:8 resonance, amplifying the themes of infinity, spiritual power, transformation, embodiment and the conscious stewardship of our sacred gifts.
Delightful energy indeed ✨
The Infinite Heart of 8:8 ✨
When we look into the centre of a torus, revealing its continuous flow, we see the graceful figure ‘8’ of the lemniscate, the symbol of infinity.
In this way, 8:8 beautifully represents the still point at the centre of both the Human Heart Torus and the Earth Heart Torus… two living fields of energy flowing inward and outward, giving and receiving, beating and breathing together as One.
As our Hearts entrain with the Heart of Earth, the illusion of separation begins to soften… and we remember that her rhythm lives within us, just as our love ripples through her ✨
Our ancient relationship with Sirius
Sirius is the brightest star in our night sky and has been deeply revered across many ancient cultures.
In ancient Egypt, Sirius was known as Sopdet, later called Sothis by the Greeks. Its heliacal rising, ts first visible appearance in the dawn sky after being hidden within the Sun’s light, was associated with the flooding of the Nile, fertility, renewal and the return of life.
The exact date of Sirius’s heliacal rising changes… and this is where some of the debate around the Lion’s Gateway begins.
But wait… don’t some astrologers say the Lion’s Gateway isn’t real?
Yes, they do.
Some traditional astrologers reject the idea of the Lion’s Gateway because there is no ancient astrological doctrine declaring that a portal universally opens on 8 August, 8:8.
The 8:8 numerology is a spiritual insight inter-woven with the astrological semi-sextile, and the sacred geometric tetrahedron formation… inviting us to look deeper through a slightly wider lens.
It asks us to become curious about the places where astronomy, astrology, sacred geometry, numerology, ancient wisdom and our own embodied experience begin whispering to one another.
Within my understanding… the Sirian {Lion’s} Gateway is an energetic and symbolic passage.
Its celestial foundation lives within the Sun’s annual relationship with Sirius, the Sun’s movement through Leo and the semi-sextile that develops between the Sun and Sirius around 8 August as viewed from Earth.
Its spiritual meaning comes alive through the consciousness we bring to that relationship.
Feel into it. Get quiet. Become curious.
Notice what awakens within you.
The Sirian LIGHTcodes
Within the Flourish Celestial Wheel, Sirius is the Universal Gateway, the 7th Dimensional field of Divine Masculine consciousness, the golden solar ray of illumination.
Within my Sacred Teachings*, one octave down within the human energy field, this Sirian frequency is received through the Solar Plexus, our centre of personal power, Divine Will, self-worth and conscious choice.
During the Lion’s Gateway, the energetic veil between Sirius and the Solar Plexus becomes more permeable, allowing higher Sirian LIGHTcodes to illuminate the places where fear, control, self-doubt or feelings of “not enough” have dimmed our radiance.
And no, this LIGHT does not arrive with a clipboard to point out everything you have been doing wrong!
It enters with LOVE.
It gently shines into the forgotten corners and says:
Beautiful Soul, you don’t need to hide here anymore.
The Lion’s Gateway reminds us that sovereignty is not domination. It is the inner steadiness that arises when we no longer need to prove our worth, diminish our gifts or control every detail of the path ahead.
We soften the grip of the ego.
We open to a greater intelligence.
We remember that we are worthy of receiving.
And slowly, gently, perhaps a little courageously… we allow ourselves to shine.
Becoming crystalline beings of LIGHT
The tetrahedral geometry of the Sirian {Lion’s} Gateway also speaks beautifully to the crystalline nature of the human body.
Water molecules and the silicon-oxygen structure of quartz may both be represented through tetrahedral arrangements.
Within my sacred teachings* this tetrahedron creates a sacred bridge between the water within our bodies, the crystalline mineral intelligence of Earth and the sacred geometry of cosmic LIGHT.
Our bodies are predominantly water. Energetically, these inner waters become conduits through which emotion, intention, memory, frequency and LIGHT may flow.
As we consciously connect with the Sirian LIGHTcodes, we invite the waters within us to become more coherent, to release old emotional imprints and become clearer vessels for higher consciousness.
This is not about floating away into the cosmos and leaving your humanness behind.
It is about bringing more of your Soul into your body.
More of your love into your relationships.
More of your truth into your voice.
More of your LIGHT into the beautifully ordinary moments of your life.
We are not here simply to receive LIGHT.
We are here to live it.
What might you feel during the gateway?
As this Sirian field builds, you may experience:
- Heightened intuition, vivid dreams or delicious synchronicities.
- A growing desire to be seen more authentically.
- Old fears around visibility, worthiness or personal power bubbling to the surface.
- Greater sensitivity to people, environments or energetic noise.
- Sudden insights about your purpose or next direction.
- A longing for sunlight, water, nature, quiet or rest.
- Creative inspiration and the desire to express what has been held inside.
- A greater awareness of where you may be trying to control life rather than trust it.
- A tender opening of the Heart, bringing unexpected waves of emotion, joy or wonderment.
You may feel radiant and ready to dance barefoot under the stars one moment… and want to disappear beneath a blanket with a cup of tea the next.
Both are welcome.
There is nothing you need to force. LIGHT does not need to be chased, earned or performed.
Your invitation is simply to become present enough to receive it.

Light a Candle 🕯️
Let the flame represent the Divine Spark that already lives within you.
As you gaze into it, remember that the LIGHT you seek is not arriving from somewhere outside of you. Sirius may awaken and amplify it, but the spark has always belonged to you.
Meet the Sun ☀️
Spend a little quiet time outdoors in the gentle morning or late-afternoon sunlight.
Place one hand over your Solar Plexus and the other over your Heart. Breathe slowly and imagine the golden solar ray moving through your body, softly warming the places where you have felt afraid to shine.
Please practise sensible sun safety and never look directly at the Sun.
Work with water 🌊
Take a salt bath, swim in the ocean, sit beside flowing water or drink a beautiful glass of water infused with loving intention.
As you connect with the water, imagine the Sirian LIGHTcodes moving through your inner waters, clearing, softening and restoring coherence within your energetic field.
You may even whisper:
May the LIGHT I receive move through me with love.
Create a Tetrahedron of LIGHT ▵
Visualise a radiant golden tetrahedron surrounding your body.
Feel its base anchored deep within the crystalline Heart of Earth, while its upper point opens toward our Sun and Sirius.
Breathe the golden Sirian ray down through your Crown, into your Heart and Solar Plexus. Then allow it to flow through the rest of your body and into Earth.
Heaven above.
Earth below.
Your Heart in the centre.
You are the sacred meeting place.
Have a heart-to-heart with yourself ☕️
Pour a cup of tea, take out your journal and gently explore:
- Where am I ready to be seen more fully?
- What part of me is ready to stop asking permission to shine?
- Where might fear be disguising itself as control?
- What sacred gift is asking to be expressed through me?
- How would I live if I truly believed I was worthy of receiving?
- What does the Light Within wish to illuminate next?
Let your answers be honest, imperfect and alive. Your Soul is not marking your homework.
Choose embodiment over manifestation ✨
The Lion’s Gateway is often spoken about as a powerful time for manifestation. And yes, it can be a beautiful time to dream, envision and open to new possibilities.
But rather than asking only:
“What can I attract?”
Try asking:
“Who am I ready to become?”
Then choose one small, grounded action that expresses that frequency.
Share your creativity. Speak the truth. Rest without guilt. Wear the fabulous dress. Begin the project. Open your Heart. Let yourself be witnessed. Say yes to what makes you feel deliciously alive.
The gateway is not brought to life through wishing alone.
It becomes real through embodiment.
The Light Within 💫
Beautiful Soul, the Lion’s Gateway is not asking you to become more impressive, more spiritual or somehow more worthy.
It is inviting you to release everything that has hidden the radiance already within you.
Sirius illuminates the higher template.
Our Sun ignites the Divine Spark.
Earth receives and grounds the frequency.
And your body becomes the sacred meeting place where LIGHT takes form.
This 8:8, may you soften the need to have everything figured out.
May you trust the loving intelligence of Life a little more deeply.
May you remember the courage of your Heart, the sovereignty of your Soul and the sacred gifts you came here to share.
And may you let yourself shine, not because you need to prove anything, but simply because being fully, joyfully and unapologetically you feels so very good.
You do not need to chase the gateway.
You are the Gateway.
