There is something about the energy of October that feels like an invitation to lean in a little closer to our Hearts, and our desires beneath the desires.
I keep feeling that this is not a month for rushing to decide what comes next… too many planets are in retrograde at present! It is a month for creating enough stillness to hear what is already whispering beneath the surface.
Because underneath everything we think we should want, there is often a more tender and truthful desire waiting to be felt. And maybe October is the inward month where we finally allow ourselves to feel it.
The Numerology of October 2026
October is the 10th month, carrying the vibration of 10/1, the completion of one cycle and the first luminous spark of another.
I love the energy of the 10 because it reminds us that endings and beginnings are not really separate. One gently folds into the other. Something completes, a doorway opens… and suddenly we find ourselves standing at the threshold of a possibility that did not exist before.
The number 1 invites courage, self-leadership and a willingness to step towards the person we are becoming, even when we cannot yet see the entire path ahead. The number 0 reminds us that growth is not linear, but cyclical and infinite… we return, deepen, expand and begin again.
Together, the 1 and 0 express the mystery of Oneness through Metatrons Cube, the straight lines (1’s) and the spheres (0’s), the individual and the whole, reminding us that every new beginning arises from the infinite field of Creation.
We are also moving through a 1 Universal Year in 2026, magnifying these themes of initiation, independence and new possibilities. Together, October’s 10 energy and the 2026 Universal 1 Year energy, create an 11/2 Universal Month (10+1=11).
Number 11 is a Master Number of intuition, illumination and spiritual revelation. It opens a shimmering doorway between the visible and invisible, heightening our sensitivity to synchronicities, inner nudges and those delightful moments where we just know/feel all before the logical mind has caught up.
Beneath the 11 rests the soft, receptive vibration of the 2… relationship, harmony, connection and sacred reciprocity.
This reminds us that October is not simply about making things happen. It is about softening enough to receive. Listening before acting. Allowing the next step to rise through relationship with Life rather than through force.
There is a difference between chasing a future and becoming available to one. October invites us into that difference.
October’s Energetic Invitation
There is a deeply reflective, sensual quality moving through October.
As Venus travels retrograde, she draws our attention inward, towards love, desire, relationships, beauty, abundance and our relationship with our own worth.
Venus asks us to notice where our precious life-force is flowing. What are we devoted to? What are we tolerating? What continues to enchant us, and what no longer feels beautiful, nourishing or true?
Old desires may return. Forgotten dreams may begin rustling in the corners of our awareness. We may suddenly remember something we once loved, wanted or imagined for ourselves before life became busy.
I don’t feel these returning desires are necessarily asking us to go backwards. Maybe they are returning because we are finally ready to meet them as the person we have now become? Or maybe they show you how far you have come, and how your desires have now changed to meet the new you?
Later in the month, Venus meets the Sun to create a new point within the divine sacred geometry of the Venus Star. I feel this as a rebirth of the Heart, moment of light within the darkness, revealing something honest about what we love and what we are ready to receive.
This is the last Venus Star Point in Scorpio in our lifetime, so it is worthy of our connection. I will be posting out the Venus Star Point very soon, but in the meantime, here is our 2022 Starpoint.
There are many divine Astro-Transits happening this month, and I will cover these within Intuitive Astrology. But for now, October invites us beyond surface wants and into the desire beneath the desire.
Beneath the desire for success, perhaps there is a longing for freedom.
Beneath the desire to be seen, perhaps there is a longing to belong.
Beneath the desire for abundance, perhaps there is a longing to feel safe enough to soften, dream and live more expansively.
And beneath the desire for change, perhaps there is simply a Soul yearning to feel fully alive again.
This is not a month for judging our desires or trying make everything happen as of yesterday. It is a month for meeting them with tenderness, curiosity and perhaps even a little wonder of what they maybe unlocking for your next chapter.
