Hi there, my name is Dianne and I live in Auckland, New Zealand with my amazing husband Steve. Between us we have 4 children and 5 grandchildren who keep us very busy.
From the age of 11, when I first started as a St John Ambulance cadet, my life has revolved around helping people. A career in nursing was cut short due to a spinal injury and I moved on to a 35 year career in law enforcement, where I spent the last 22 years teaching Personal Safety, Police, Traffic, and Drug Education programmes to school students of all ages.
During this time I became passionate about children with special needs, learning disabilities, and behavioural issues, as well as those who were medically fragile. This led to my involvement with organisations such as the NZ Gifted Children Association, Parent-to-Parent, Dyspraxia NZ, and the (then called) Kids with Immune Deficiencies Society. My passion for helping young people, and their families, inspired me to learn more about these matters at both Auckland and Victoria Universities, and by attending IABA, in Los Angeles, to study Assessment and Analysis of Severe and Challenging Behaviours.
In 2013 I was fortunate to visit the Casa de Dom Inacio, in Abadiania, Brazil, where João Teixeira de Faria, internationally known as John of God or João de Deus, carries out his powerful work. The Casa is a place of healing and one of the amazing tools in use there are Crystal Light Healing Beds. These combine the potency of colour and crystal therapies as they radiate coloured light through seven clear quartz crystals into the user’s energy field to promote deep healing. I was very honoured when the Entities at the Casa entrusted me with a Crystal Light System to bring back to New Zealand. They have blessed it for use in my Wellness Practice.
For many decades my work was proof, fact and evidence based and suddenly I found myself having to embrace a more belief-based practice. I consequently set about exploring and learning different modalities to give me a better understanding and more experience. I completed a Medicine Wheel course, Level 1 Reiki training, the Essence of Angels® Practitioners Course, the Crystal Light Healing Bed Practitioners Course and a year-long Intuitive Therapy Course. More recently I completed the Advanced Essence of Angels® Practitioners Course and the Essence of Angels® Teachers Course.
Being a Wellness Facilitator enables me to continue helping people as I have always done albeit through different mediums. I look forward to sharing my Crystal Light Healing Bed, my Essences of Angels®, and my awesome nutritional supplements, with you and your family, and to being able to provide assistance with all sorts of issues in a safe, non-toxic way without negative side-effects.
