Having overcome a good deal of adversity in my own life, I’ve always had a keen interest in helping others to do the same. For many years I worked as personal trainer and had great satisfaction in helping people to make positive changes within themselves by eating healthfully and engaging in regular exercise. But after my father’s passing in 2007, I experienced what I could only describe as a ‘spiritual awakening’ and became drawn towards change on a much deeper level.
Like many intuitive people, I was born intuitive but ended up spending most of my life trying to dull my gifts to appear ‘normal’. Embracing my path to being a healer was as much about embracing who I truly am as it was about finding a vocation that I love. I believe that if you honour who you are, and you follow your heart, you will attract abundance into your life. Life will always throw you challenges, but if you have that heart centre, you have the foundations to support you during these challenges.
Much of my enthusiasm for practicing as healer comes from the amazing changes I’ve had from visiting healers myself. I remember the first time a practitioner advised me to “change the inside and the outside will change”, and I remember feeling very sceptical. But years later, I can now say that I’ve found this consistently to be the truth.
