On Sunday 4 September 2016, Pope Francis will canonise Mother Teresa and declare her as St. Teresa of Kolkata (Calcutta).
I know there is much controversy surrounding Mother Teresa’s work and her life, but if we cast aside our views/opinions of religion, God or the separation caused by church… Mother Teresa offers all of us a timeless message, a message of LOVE from the Heart.
Mother Teresa dedicated her life in service and believed that LOVE was the answer. Even in the face of the poorest of the poor starving, she believed that the greatest hunger and malnutrition of humanity was LOVE. And that when we LOVE our selves, LOVE our families and LOVE one another only then we will find Peace, Harmony & Unity within the world.
So in the context of this deeper meaning of Mother Teresa’s work – that of LOVE – I have created this short 3 minute slide show of ‘Sacred Words of Wisdom’ gifted by Mother Teresa during her lifetime. May these words gift you a sacred reflection of the LOVE within you and the LOVE that you are here to share with the world ♡
