GIFT 10: FREE Meditation – Solar Eclipse
On the 29 April 2014 we have an SOLAR ECLIPSE. A Solar Eclipse occurs on the New Moon, whereby the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun, obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun.
This will be an ANNULAR SOLAR ECLIPSE as the Sun behind the Moon will be seen as a very bright ring of light (an annulus) around the dark disk of the Moon.. ie thus the Moon will be emblazoned with a ‘Ring of Fire’ (see image right). This occurs as the Moon is it’s furthest distance away from Earth, thus the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun.
The energy of a Solar Eclipse ‘obscures’ our vision forward, such that we can take time to reflect on the present and truthfully see how this relates to our past. The veil of illusion is parted during a Solar Eclipse and the opportunity to see/be/feel/experience our truths unfolds.
The insights gained are not about dragging up old energy, or reliving painful events or experiences, but rather to positively reassess where you have been and use this knowledge to make quantum leaps on your path moving forward.
Whilst a Solar Eclipse can create upheaval in your life, this ‘forced’ opportunity to reassess or re-evaluate your life provides a profound opportunity to leap into a new sphere of existence beyond your perceived limitations.
For this New Moon Solar Eclipse, the Moon & Sun are in the Earth sign of Taurus, bringing a sense of grounding, nurturing and practicality to this eclipse. What do you really value in your life, what makes your heart-n-soul rejoice, and how can you live your life as an expression of that joy. As we move into this New Moon Solar Eclipse , make a gratitude list of all the things in your life that make you ‘wealthy’ and make a vow to LIVE these truths as part of your everyday existence.
