General Meaning – Full Moons
The mid-point of our 29 day lunar cycle is marked by the Full Moon. During a Full Moon, the Moon is sitting opposite the Sun and is fully illuminated as it reflects the light of the Sun.
The Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence the tides, and all life forms on Earth, including human behaviour & consciousness. In addition, during a Full Moon, both the Moon & Sun are opposing each other on opposite sides of the zodiac… which can make for a challenging or intense aspect of energy but also a very potent potential as the Lunar & Solar (yin & yang) are in natural harmonic balance.
The SUN represents our ‘outer-world’, our identify, our personality, our ego. It represents how we ‘shine our light’ out into the world, the present moment, our yang or masculine archetype expression. The Sun offers us strength, courage and illuminated insight of the Soul.
The MOON represents our ‘inner world’, our hidden emotions, desires, our shadow-self, fears/worries and our dreams. It represents our feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past and our yin or feminine goddess archetype. The Moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence.
During a FULL MOON, the Moon is fully illuminated as it sits in opposition to our Sun. The energy (influenced by the current Zodiac transit) is heightened and emotions, feelings, mental processes, dreams etc are all amplified. When the Sun & Moon oppose each other during a Full Moon, this can cause tension & uncomfortable friction, but at the same time a greater amplification of vision & potential possibility. The Full Moon is a powerful time of gratitude, gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself and all you have brought into beingness. You may feel a burning desire to express your creativity, bliss out in sensual activities & through fierce yet profoundly tender vibrations let go of any aspects of your life that no longer serve the grandest vision of your Soul.
The FULL MOON is a great time to ‘moon bathe’ – simply sit under the light of the moon & meditate – and is you breathe-in allow the moon to warm your Heart & expand the beauty of the present moment, and as you breathe-out let the light of the moon transmute that which you wish to release. Full Moon ceremonies, either lighting a candle for yourself or coming together with others in sacred circle, is a powerful way to bring healing to the self/group and simply BE this Wave of LOVE for all Humanity & planet Earth. I LOVE placing my crystals out under the Full Moon to cleanse their crystalline structures and infuse them with solar vibrations.

During the PISCES FULL MOON, the moon is reflecting the light of the SUN in VIRGO. You maybe tempted at this time to try and ‘see’ or find logical answers through Virgo Sun, however the Pisces Moon is asking you to ‘let go of control’ and just allow the dream to unfold in its own good time.

Neptune is often referred to as the ‘higher octave’ cousin of Venus. Thus our values for love, beauty and passions become more ‘universal’ through Neptune. Neptune is the planet of the mysterious, the illusionary and beyond the confines of the program. It calls us to gain insights from higher states of conscious/awareness/dream state. However in it’s polarity (everything has a polarity), Neptune can also represent the hypnotic trance like state of delusion.
With Neptune being Retrograde this Full Moon & conjuncting the Moon (Moon is at 13.530 Pisces & Neptune Retrograde is at 12.5490 Pisces), it is taking us deep into our psyche, deep into our inner-selves and uncovering an authentic truth as the fraudulent illusion & deceptive trance of those in power are illuminated.
As I reflect on the dramas playing out in the world at the moment, this Full Moon sychronistically is weaving an enlightened ray of hope and fervent potential. It could be easy to fall into the trap of focusing on taking sides and ridiculing those that imbue hated, violence & deceit. However Neptune Retro this Full Moon shows us that this self-righteous ‘I am better than them’ attitude, or this ‘war’ against the wrongdoers mentality doesn’t create any winners, it only seeks to further the divide and ultimately everyone hurts even more.
This enlightening Full Moon draws us away from these control dramas and into a dreamy, intuitive flow of inner-knowing. Whilst Virgo Sun may want you to try and make ‘mental’ sense of the crazy events happening around the world at this time… the Pisces Moon + Neptune Retro are guiding, dreaming, surrendering and mystically flourishing miracles through your Heart.
If you are feeling scared, helpless, lost, confused or in a state of despair over what is happening to our beloved Earth… then this is the Full Moon for you to move into an enlightened expression of a greater potential. Take time this Full Moon to listen to that inner-voice, that delicious feminine power of inner-knowing, feeling, sensing, intuition that is drawing you upward and helping you remember WHY you are here. Don’t be baited into the shadow of others in their time of conflict or war… your inner-voice which is gentle, nurturing yet has the graceful power behind it to move mountains knows only truth & comes to life through LOVE.
Rise up, be brave enough to come alive out of the illusionary dream, claim your rightful place in this world as the singer, the dreamer, the imaginal-cells of a new story. Unleash your spirit, allow it to soar, connect with your tribe this Full Moon, and dream your LOVE into the world. Not tomorrow, not next week, not when you think you are good enough to do it… surrender and unleash your SPIRIT NOW. When you break-free from the illusion and re-Wild those tamed feelings in your Heart, you unleash a deep reservoir of joy within you… its the place where suffering ends and miracles start !
You maybe thinking but ‘I am small’, ‘what have I to offer than can make a difference out-there’, or that you may feel that you are not yet ready to unleash the full radiance of your joyous being onto the world – you still don’t know enough/aren’t worthy/educated enough/or it is safer hiding behind your fears and staying small. But that reaction is simply a squandering of your energy and a deceptive mirror of the illusion itself. YOU are the most amazing thing to EVER happen to this planet and ALL you are called to do is just be your juicy, big, vibrant, loving, kind, deliciously scrumptious self ! And Now. Just do it! It is that easy, and in actual fact anything less of is simply bloody hard work !
