Our Aries New moon is a TOTAL Solar Eclipse— referred to as the Great American Eclipse. Due to a number of synchronistic elements, this Eclipse represents a fresh new chapter opening in our lives— and is one of THE most transformative events of 2024.

New Moon ARIES Energy
Aries New Moons feel like a new chapter is opening in your life, a deep impulse, a strong inner desire to walk your truth, own your LIGHT and break free from restrains of family or social conditioning. You may feel the push to take that leap of faith into something new. Aries is saying don’t overthink it, unduly question the impulse or just dip your toe in to test the waters. Aries is saying NOW is the time, make the leap a big one, just do it and don’t look back.
With Mercury moving Retrograde in Aries the week prior to our Eclipse, you may experience delays in seeing your leap gain momentum, but don’t be perturbed, the ripples of change will flow expansively once again by the time Mars moves direct on the 26 April 2024, combined with significant Jupiter conjunct Uranus in Taurus on the 21 April 2024 (I will be sharing more about this very soon).

TOTAL Solar Eclipse
Solar Eclipse’s occur on the New Moon, whereby the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun, obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun – hence the Sun, Moon & Earth are in a straight line.
Our Aries New Moon Solar Eclipse is a TOTAL Solar Eclipse—whereby the Moon TOTALLY obscures Earth’s view of the Sun. A Total Solar Eclipse can only be seen in a small region on Earth along its transit line. If you are within the line of TOTALITY, you will experience a Total Solar Eclipse this New Moon.
Annular Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon’s apparent size is slightly less that that of the Sun, hence the Sun behind the Moon appears as a very bright ring of light (an annulus, often referred to as the ‘ring of fire’) around the dark disk of the Moon. If you are just slightly outside of the line of totality, you will experience an Annual Solar Eclipse this New Moon. View list of countries where the Eclipse is visible.
The energy of a Solar Eclipse ‘obscures’ our vision forward, such that we can take time to reflect on the present and truthfully see how this relates to our past. The insights gained are not about dragging up old energy, or reliving painful events or experiences, but rather to positively reassess where you have been and use this knowledge to make quantum leaps on your path moving forward. Whilst a Solar Eclipse can create upheaval in your life, this ‘forced’ opportunity to reassess or re-evaluate your life provides a profound opportunity to leap into a new sphere of existence beyond your perceived limitations.
