General Overview – Full & New Moons
The moon and its position within our celestial sky holds a powerful frequency that affects our day to day beingness here on Earth. The moons electro-magnetic frequency as it waxes and wanes each month effects our physiology, our emotional/mental responses and spiritual potential.
The energy from the New Moon up to the Full Moon is gradually building in strength and intensity; thus the New Moon is a great time to set your intentions, write down goals or begin new projects for the forthcoming cycle. Consider sitting in ceremony or personal meditation and affirming to the Universe your intentions & inner-most heartfelt desires for the cycle.
From Full Moon to the New Moon the energy is gradually decreasing in strength and intensity… thus is a time to release and let go of any areas in your life that no longer serve your higher purpose.
The Full Moon is a perfect time to connect in ceremony (personal or 
group), light a candle and release/transmute through sacred ritual that which no longer serves.

This New Moon will be a time to reflect on why we are here, and finding new ways to how we can lead authentic lives.

Chinese New Year – 9 February 2016
On this months New Moon (the second new moon after December Solstice) we entered the year of the ‘Fire Monkey’… a year of creativity, spontaneity, merriment and maybe a little mischief.
After two successive years of ‘wood energy’ (think planting the fuel of fire), we are ready to bloom our visions through the firey passions of our heart.
It is a year of owning our LIGHT, standing in the authentic power of our Soul (without ego) and not allowing others to extinguish the embers of your dreams. In a Monkey year expect the unexpected… and remember to play in the lightness of your BEINGNESS.
World Sound Healing Day – 14 Feb 2016

With the Moon in Virgo and the Sun in Pisces this full moon, we are being asked to ALLOW the dream to bring magic within our lives.
Sometimes our ego wants the dream to happen a certain way.. but this Full Moon is one of allowing the dream to be made manifest in perfect divine order and timing for the highest good of all.
That may mean making the choice of letting go of something that you know in your heart is not for you, even though your mind/ego is grappling with cutting something loose as you may have invested time, money, energy, love into it. Letting go is not failure, but rather a recognition of lessons learnt & wisdoms gained and then creating the space for a new Golden Door of opportunity to open for you.
During this FULL MOON, simply SURRENDER and allow yourself to see the PERFECTION in the IMPERFECTIONS. Let go of how YOU think it should be done, and follow the whisperings of spirit through the calling of your Heart.
