On the eve of our Total Solar Eclipse, the ocean called me at Sunrise today… she had a message that I would like to share with you.
The photo that I captured this morning really encapsulates her wisdom and how we can make the most of today/tomorrows TOTAL Solar Eclipse energy.
The Ocean’s message was simple, yet if we embrace her wisdom the effects will create profound changes not only in our individual lives, but also in the heart of our global communities:
“As the Moon transits over the Sun during our TOTAL Solar Eclipse,
take a moment to breathe
and be fully present with how you FEEL.
Father Sun & Mother Moon are guiding you inward, to reflect on your shadow,
the darkest aspects of yourself that remain hidden from the world,
maybe even hidden from your conscious mind…
From a place of non-judgement,
lean into the FEELING no matter how uncomfortable it feels,
or how challenging it may seem…
and then from a place of LOVE, choose to..
bring LIGHT to the pain,
HEALING to the hurt,
& FLOW through the resistence…
Notice how eloquently the LIGHT illuminates the shadow
and notice how the darkness, the ego, loses its hold over you…
it loses it’s gripping vice that keeps you small, keeps you from being heard…
that keeps you afraid of the future….
As you lean into and feel your shadow and fully own it,
bless it,
love it
and give gratitude for the experience…
the darkness dissipates and the dark energy of the story crumbles into oblivion…
Continue to breathe and become fully present with the
deepest LOVE this Eclipse is showing you is possible.
A LOVE that is gentle, kind, graceful & at peace with LIFE itself.

The candle flame represents our LIGHT, our truest nature, the LOVE within our Hearts, the part of us that exists for eternity beyond the story.

Total Solar Eclipse
As our August 2017 New Moon transits the Sun, we also experience a TOTAL Solar Eclipse this New Moon. The Eclipse (either partial or total) will be visible from Western Europe, North/East Asia, North/West Africa, North America, South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Arctic.
This is the first total eclipse of the Sun visible from the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) since February 26, 1979. ENERGY: New Moon + Solar Eclipse
During our August Eclipse window, it is time to reflect on the themes of what was coming up for you in February 2017 and finally, gracefully and with FULL HEART let go, surrender and take that step into the soft yet powerful expanse of your HEART. It is TIME to LOVE the cracks and let go of the boundaries that limit your experience of infinite LOVE.
Our August 8/9 Lunar Eclipse was a powerful exploration of Relationships – ALL our RELATIONSHIPS such as friends, family, lovers, community and our societal systems (such as our relationship to/with Governments, Business leaders etc). And of course the most important relationship, your RELATIONSHIP with SELF. We were called to take REVOLUTIONARY steps into a deeper place within our Hearts and through kindness, compassion and reverence for one another come together in heart-space to be the change.
And now, during our August 21/22 Solar Eclipse we are being called to experience the world through eyes of LOVE. But before I explain the energy of our August New Moon + Solar Eclipse, let me first explain the energetics of Solar Eclipses in general.
A Solar Eclipse occurs on the New Moon, whereby the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun, obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun. The energy of a Solar Eclipse ‘obscures’ our vision forward, such that we can take time to reflect on the present and truthfully see how this relates to our past. The insights gained are not about dragging up old energy, or reliving painful events or experiences, but rather to positively reassess where you have been and use this knowledge to make quantum leaps on your path moving forward.
A Solar Eclipse feels like a mega-amplified New Moon and particularly as our August Solar Eclipse is a TOTAL Solar Eclipse the energy building has been VERY intense, but (and there is always a but) also has the potential to be wildly transformational… should we choose to surrender to the eclipses greater potential. Well to be honest, Eclipses have the effect of pushing you to transform… and the choice comes into being as to whether you choose to do this with grace & ease !
As I mentioned above, the theme of our August 21/22 Solar Eclipse (whereby our Moon & Sun are in Leo) is calling us to experience the world through eyes of LOVE. Remember back to a time (or maybe you are experiencing this right in this moment) when you first fell head over heals in crazy delish LOVE. Remember how you felt, how you viewed life… how the world took on a different meaning during this ‘honeymoon’ period of intense emotion & blissful joy. The world per se didn’t change in the instant that you fell with full heart in love, however your EXPERIENCE of the world took on a whole different hue. It reminds me of the following quote by the late Wayne Dyer:
When you change the way you look at things,
the things you look at change!
It could be easy at present to feel a deep sadness and cynically ‘see’ the chaos, separation and fear within the world way as beyond the point of no return. Many people are feeling this pain and being consumed by its darkness and deafening vibe. But your HEART knows that what you see with your eyes is not representative of the TRUTH of who you are, of who we all are… and the greater potential that awaits an awakened Humanity.
With the Moon & Sun in Leo during this New Moon TOTAL Solar Eclipse, we are being called to see the world through our Hearts, the eyes of LOVE. Leo, the big-hearted, wise & courageous lion is calling us to be vulnerable, open our Hearts to a world more beautiful and BE courageous enough to be a revolutionary pioneer by CHOOSING to ‘see’ a greater potential for humanity through LOVE.
I know at times this HEART-FULL presence can be hard to uphold – with the threats of North Korea, the atrocious behaviour of radical groups gathering in Charlottesville over the weekend… not to mention the sickening rhetoric of ultra-conservative politicians here in Australia igniting a flame of hate-speech directed toward our LGBTIQ+ community… just to name a few. When does this painful behaviour, this senseless violence, all this suffering in the world ever end ? It ends with YOU, it ends with US… it ENDS when we change the way we ‘see’ the world and choose to experience LIFE through the eyes of LOVE.
As I write this article, it is heart-warming for me to reflect that this week marks the 30 year Anniversary of the Harmonic Convergence. I talk about this in detail in my Essence of Angels® eCourse – but essentially on the 16/17/18 August 1987, thousands of people came together around the planet (under the guidance of the late José Argüelles & Mayan codes), to meditate and hold a HEART vision of an awakened humanity. Imagine, without the aid of the internet & social media… a global synchronised meditation event attended by thousands of people (physically or in meditation events around the planet) that sought to accelerate the Shift of the Ages through the awakening of our DNA via the Law of LOVE.
As I reflect back on my life in August 1987, I was studying at University and it was that same year that I first ever fell in LOVE. That head-over-heels, can’t ever be apart, dreamy-eyed crazy LOVE. The kind of love where the embers of your Heart are first ignited and you feel that your story of love is akin to all the great love stories throughout time (without the tragedy of course!).
I remember August 1987 fondly… how beautiful the world appeared to me as colours were much more vivid, I smiled 24/7 (I was all giggly in the LOVE vibe), holding hands with my beloved felt like an eternity within each second and NOTHING (not even Uni exams) got me down as our LOVE was much bigger than any problem that crossed my path.
Now some 30 years later, as we step into a week of reflecting on the past and being present in the NOW for what we wish to create in the future… we can see that LOVE is the only way we can truly be the BRIDGE of co-creating a new world. We currently are sitting on a tipping point, where there is darkness before the dawn… and the LIGHT of our HEARTS are illuminating the way forward.
As we choose to experience our world through eyes of LOVE we are empowered to not see the darkness of the human condition, but to ignite the flame of the LIGHT of LOVE in the SoulFULL Hearts of Humanity. We fall back in LOVE with each other (just like our first ever love) and we smile me, giggle, find joy in the smallest of things and most importantly KNOW in our HEARTS that we have the power to move beyond any suffering in our lives as LOVE will show us the way. LOVE is all there truly is.
