Australian Police – Speaking up

Senior Constable Alexander Cooney (from NSW, Australia, Police Force) has penned an open letter to the Commissioner of Police, challenging the directions the Police have been given in Australia.

He has started a movement he calls “Cops for Covid Truth” and his letter is a compelling read… and he openly invites Police Officers + concerned citizens across all the States and Territories to join his movement.

​Public trust in government and the police is corroding almost as rapidly as suspicions around their intentions, questioning agendas, corporate influence, nepotism, partiality and how Chief Health Officers that were not elected, can dictate in what appears to be an autocracy.

The open letter was released on the 31 Oct, and already over 2,300 members of the public have signed.   PLUS over 100 police officers have been brave enough to sign too.

Your next chapter might begin with a tiny spark of joy. ✨ That idea you keep returning to. The thing you would love to try. The possibility that makes your Heart whisper.... Oh yes, please 💗 Pay attention to that. Sometimes we wait for the whole picture before giving ourselves permission to begin. Yet our Soul may already be speaking through curiosity, delight, and the simple things that make us feel alive. I love the thought that you can follow that feeling without knowing where it will lead. Write the first few lines. Send the message. Give yourself ten minutes to explore. Then notice what happens within you. Does your breath soften? Do you feel more present, more YOU? Self-trust grows when you listen within and give that wisdom room to move. And transformation can begin with something as simple as making space for joy. Scorpio Moon days have a way of drawing us beneath the surface and gently returning us to what is real 🌒 But truth doesn’t always arrive with thunder. Sometimes, it arrives as relief.
