Intuitive Intensity
Our Aries Full Moon is rousing the energy of both Pluto & Mars, creating quite intense aspects over the coming weeks. As seen in the chart above, the Moon at 27 Aries is square Pluto at 24 Capricorn, and in opposition to Mars at 23 Libra and the Sun at 27 Libra. Hence Pluto is square both Mars/Sun and the Moon... quite a powerful combination indeed!
Mars goes to battle, is fearless, takes action, and passionately follows deepest desires. Pluto is a driver of our transformation. Pluto induces us to look into the deep recesses of our subconscious and transform that which doesn’t serve. Of course we all have free will & choice… but Pluto has a unique way of pushing your buttons and ‘making you’ transform or else ! Pluto can be pretty intense, but it can also make things happen ! Pluto is about death & birth, destruction & reformation, and endings & beginnings.
With Pluto square both Mars/Sun as well as the Moon, this aspect creates an intense, challenging and deeply uncomfortable vibration. Yet at the same time, may propagate shifts that create some of the greatest transformations you have ever seen. I suppose it depends on whether you see your glass as ‘half full, or half empty’.
When planets are squared a sort of conflict arises, where both planets are vying for the limelight and neither are prepared to compromise their affections. When I think of planets squaring, it reminds me of siblings sitting in the backseat of the car – squabbling over who is right/wrong. Neither party willing to admit defeat, let alone own up to the error of their ways.
Relating this all to Pluto, Mars/Sun, and our Full Moon... we may find ourselves in an internal conflict with ourselves, a Mars like battle with what we believe to be fair/just within our Libra sun world. The writing is on the wall, the injustices are blatantly obvious, but are you prepared to do what it takes to speak up, to balance the scales of equinimity?
Pluto vying Aries Moon is asking you take a good hard look at yourself. Are your personal life values being truly LIVED in this moment? Are you living congruent with who you know yourself to be in your Heart? Or are you keeping small, laying low, waiting for things to blow over and return ‘to normal’. Aries Moon/Pluto, pushed to the brink by Mars, is injecting you with a spark (most likely a fiery sword), to cut the BS story you may have been telling yourself, and really GET REAL with what is being shown to you this Full Moon.
The further you step away from this truth, the more uncomfortable and even deeply distressing you may find this Full Moon. But if you choose to step into the arena and do battle with the shadow, you may just find that you are stronger than what you have ever believed yourself to be. And as the Full Moon wanes, and the intensity begins to dissipate, a softness, a deep Grace will fill the space. It is from this place REAL and ENDURING change can be made. What will you choose ?
