Ever since I was a child I have had a passionate curiosity for numbers and their unique vibratory potentials.   I have a fond memory of my early years, playing in the garden and counting the petals on flowers such that I would ‘know’ the energy of the plants.

Now as an adult, my passion for numerology has never waned. I LOVE working with numbers in my Personal Consultation sessions to help people dive deep into their Soul Blueprint and really get to know themselves. Numbers reveal so much about a persons gifts, challenges/opportunities and empowers people to understand their life’s purpose and sacred mission.

Through numbers you can understand the themes/cycles at play in your own life… you can reflect and learn from your past and then be inspired to step into a bright future taking full responsibility for creating a life well lived.

Sharing with you below my insights on how to make the most of the FINAL WEEKS of 2016… it’s not over yet – there are still things we must do to wrap up the end of this 9 year cycle.

I have then provided my insights on the energy of 2017 from a ‘UNIVERSAL YEAR’ perspective and the opportunities/challenges that lay ahead for the forthcoming 12 months. .

Then finally, I have detailed how to calculate and discover the meaning of your own ‘PERSONAL YEAR’ during 2017 – such that you can make the most of the opportunities that will present to you in 2017.

FINAL WEEKS of 2016

As I write this article, on the back of last weeks Mega SuperMoon, we are heading into the last 6 weeks of 2016. I know and feel that many of you are well and truly ready to put 2016 behind you and make a fresh new start in 2017… but please, don’t be too quick to jump ship just yet.

As we enter the countdown to 2016, we all have a little work to do over the next 6 weeks to round off the energetic cycle 2016 (the end of a cycle of 9 years) and make the transition into 2017 a quantum leap into an awakened potential.

2016 resonated to a Universal ‘9’ Year in numerology (2+0+1+6=9), the number of completion & endings.   During a Universal ‘9’ Year, we are called to reflect on our lessons/learnings over the past 9 years, integrate/embrace the wisdoms gained and then use these insights to prepare for a brand new cycle – a new cycle of 9 Years – from 2017 to 2025.

Whilst 2016 has been a year of endings, the 9 vibration also holds the resonance of service and humanitarian pursuits… the desire to share your knowledge/gifts/personal insights with the world. The 9 vibration pulls you away from focussing on the energy of the ‘me’ pursuit of your personal goals and instead draws you toward the energy of ‘we’ and fostering change on a global scale.

The following words resonate to the number ‘9’ in numerology and these words help to paint a picture of what 2016 was all about:

In addition, every number has a POLARITY within numerology and the following ‘9’ vibration words also express how many people on the planet are feeling as we come to the end of 2016 – feelings of deep hurt, rage and fear/helplessness within their own lives or the world at large:

As uncomfortable as these feelings maybe, we have the opportunity in our ‘9’ vibration year to not be owned by these feelings, but rather to ‘acknowledge’ them, shine the light on ‘why’ we are holding on to these ill-feelings and then end the year ‘letting go’.   We all have FREE WILL (a ‘9’ number) of course to stay angry, stay hurt, stay the victim… but really, what good will harbouring bitterness and resentment have when we have the power within us to FORGIVE (a ‘9’ number) and an OPPORTUNITY (a ‘9’ number) to choose LOVE (a ‘9’ number).

As our year 2016 winds down to an end, take the time to acknowledge how far you have come over the last 9 years; reflect on your lessons/learnings this past cycle, embrace the wisdoms gained/re-remembered and be GRATEFUL (a ‘9’ number) for all the joyous moments in your life.

Conversely, LOVE yourself enough to acknowledge areas of your life that aren’t working, where you are holding onto ill-feelings or deep hurts and take the time to FORGIVE (a ‘9 number).  Start with yourself.  FORGIVE yourself.   FORGIVE all that you perceive you have done/thought/said/ or not done/thought/said… and simply let it go, say goodbye.   Practice Quantum FORGIVEness and put an end to your pain and suffering in 2016.  Simply forgive the past, let go of expectation of the future and surrender to the present moment, without COMPROMISE or JUDGEMENT (both ‘9’ vibration words).

Crystalline Energy to help bring 2016 to a close…

Key Points to help you bring 2016 to a close…

Here are some key points to check off your list to help bring 2016 (and an entire 9 year cycle) to positive and rewarding close:

• Forgive – Write a letter of forgiveness to yourself (or another) & set yourself FREE
• Remove clutter – Feng Shui your home, office, kitchen wardrobe… it you don’t use it, lose it !
• Completion – Aim to wind up all those half-completed jobs around the house and all those tiny tasks which are hanging over your head that cause inner stress/turmoil/feelings of failure.
• Time Out – Take regular time for yourself, preferrably in nature, to reflect and have gratitude for how far you have come, all you have achieved and how EVERY experience has been an integral part of your learning & growth.
• Meditate/Mindfulness – a HUGE new year of growth and potential awaits you… strengthening you conscious connection with spirit on the inside will enable  you to flourish on the outside.
• Responsibility – If there are things in your life that you are not happy about, then it is time to take responsibility and move forward in one of three ways:  1. Accept & LOVE the circumstance for the growth/opportunities it provides you (stop the complaining, it only keeps you stuck);  2. Walk away – if it no longer serves you then it is time to say goodbye and let go;  3. Reframe your perception of the situation and behold it will change as YOU change.

2017 – Universal Year – 1

A UNIVERSAL ‘1’ Year represents the start of a fresh new cycle – a new 9 year cycle of creativity, learning and growth.

A UNIVERSAL ‘1’ Year is a time to plant the seeds of intention for the forthcoming cycle – your deepest heartfelt desires, dreams and visions for every area of your life – relationships, health, finances, career, lifestyle, spirituality etc

The intentions & foundations you set in place during 2017 (preferrably early in 2017), mold the field of potentiality and set the tone & flow of energy within your life over the forthcoming 9 years.

When we look at the breakdown of 2017, the numbers 2 + 0 + 1 + 7  firstly add to ’10’ which we then further breakdown to a single digit of ‘1’.  We can then look at both of these numbers 10/ 1 to understand more about the Universal energy of 2017 and how we can make the most of it.

In early January 2017 I will post a more detailed article about the meaning of the Numbers 10, 1 & 0…. but in the interim below I have shared a great insight into the energy of 2017.

Your intentions, aligned/focussed emotions and deepest heart felt desires are imprinting the field, they are activating your DNA (a 10/1 number) and putting you in the vortex of infinite potential & divine UNION (a 10/1 number) with SPIRIT (a 10/1 number).

As each of us activates our inherent creativity through our GODDESS (a 10/1 number) selves, we activate a VITALITY (a 10/1 number) a force within us that can move mountains, that can create miracles.  As the saying goes, you will see it when you believe it.

You can liken a Universal 1 Year to the planting of an apple tree seed…

Firstly, in the Universal 9 Year (2016), you did all the hard work of cultivating a healthy & vital space for the planting of your seed by removing any obstacles/beliefs/bad habits that would inhibit the seeds sprouting or limit the trees future health & vitality over the forthcoming 9 year cycle.

Secondly, now in this Universal 1 Year, you hold the seed in your hand and you visualise what the tree will look like in 9 years time.  The seed is small, it doesn’t look like much… but you have a big vision, a passionate unwavering heart that believes there is a grand & magnificent tree hidden within this seed. No one else seems to be able to see this tree in your seed.  No one else believes that your seed could ever be a fabulously majestic and abundant apple tree…  and most likely many people will knock your vision and try to convince you it is just not possible. But none of that matters as it is your seed, your vision, your tree.  YOU believe it, you can litterally smell/taste/touch/see the tree, YOU alone hold that grand vision… and that is all that matters.

Because you reflected and integrated all the learning and wisdoms from the previous 9 year cycle, you plant your apple tree seed in this Universal 1 Year in the full knowledge that there maybe challenging times ahead. You don’t fear what may/may not happen… a drought may stunt your tree, a storm may uproot your tree or a dis-ease may mean that your fruiting is limited.  You have grown enough to know that anytime you plant a seed there are no guarantees.

But once again none of that matters, as the planting of your seed isn’t just about an end result – the creation of a fruiting tree.  You are wise enough to know, that when you plant your seed and pour your energy, love & nurturing into that seedling over the following 9 years – you will experience the beauty of LIFE itself.  You are opening your heart to love, to compassion, to kindness, to joy, to service… you are living a full and rich life as a Soul within a human body.  You also know that it never really was about the completion of a tree, it was always about the 9 year experience of being a rich part of the blossoming of the seed.

As I mentioned earlier in this article, every number has a POLARITY within numerology and the following ’10’ (hence ‘1’) vibrational words also express how 2017 could possibly be experienced within your life:

In 2016, if you don’t put to bed and move beyond your old patterns, conditionings and self-sabotaging behaviours… or if you choose to hold yourself as a victim of your past, then you maybe in for quite a bumpy ride over the forthcoming cycle of 9 years.

Stuck in VICTIMHOOD (a 10/1 number), you will simply repeat the patterns of the past and deny yourself freedom to choose a BLISSFUL (a 10/1 number) life, that flows with grace & ease through SPIRIT (a 10/1 number).  Only you, your thoughts, emotions & perceptions are the things that keep you stuck in the past. Choosing VICTIMHOOD and a PASSIVE (a 10/1 number) approach to forgiveness will simply just create more pain, hurt & struggle.

In addition, ARROGANCE (a 10/1 number) & SEPARATION (a 10/1 number) rather than divine UNION (a 10/1 number) with SPIRIT (a 10/1 number) creates even more separation and distance from your heartfelt desires.

Crystalline Energy to help you flourish in 2017…

As studied in Crystal Light Healing® – OBSIDIAN – resonates to the number ’10’ in numerology… and is one of my favourite crystals to use in Universal ‘1’ Years (as well as Personal ‘1’ Years).

Obsidian is the result of lava cooling quickly and forming silica rich volcanic glass.  Obsidian isn’t actually a crystal, but rather is an amorphous stone as its molecular structure is irregular (ie molecules don’t form a regular crystalline lattice matrix).

It is this amorphous property that makes Obsidian such a perfect amulet for a ‘1’ Vibrational year.  Energetically this crystal shows you that the only boundaries or constraints within your life are our own beliefs, perceptions and limitations you place upon yourself.  Obsidian helps you to believe in YOU, step into your light and allow spirit to guide your steps forward in the realisation of your dreams.

Key points to help you embrace our Universal ‘1’ Year ?

• Curiosity – Follow that spark of childlike wonderment and allow these insights to spark your creativity
• Synchronicity – Release the need to KNOW all the answers in a 1 Universal Year and the feeling that you need to plan out all the EXACT steps you need to follow to realise your dreams/goals.  Follow your passion, take conscious steps towards your goal(s) and be flexible enough to allow synchronicity and divine timing to light the way forward.
• Vulnerability – Its time to step up, rise and shine.  Enrol in a new course, start that new job, finally take up that hobby, or re-decorate the house.   Now is not the time to talk about it, it is take to take active steps and make things happen.  You are an amazing Soul filled with joyous greatness… get out there and dazzle your brilliance.  Sure it scary, but when you have vulnerability as a core value, that is when the magic happens.
• Be YOU – Own your gifts, honour your uniqueness and follow your calling.   Let go of the need to live up to the expectations of others.  This is YOUR life, so it is time to live if for YOU.
• Dream – Our Universal 1 Year is filled with new possibility, endless ideas and infinite choices.   Your imagination will be sparked this year, you have the chance to reframe situations in your life and access solutions from a higher consciousness.  Record your dreams, give time to your lucid insights… anything is possible this year.
• Believe – With so many possibilities coming to light this year, now is not the time to hide away and fall into the trap of ‘not being good enough’.  You/We were born for greatness, so believe in YOU and give yourself permission to fly.
• Focus – Sure it is a year of infinite possibility and new beginnings, but if you plant too many apple seeds you may loose your focus, find yourself shackled in overwhelm and collapse into self-doubt as you enter a Universal ‘2’ year in 2018.  Let yourself be inspired this year, but you don’t have to follow EVERY idea you have… a little discernment can be very empowering.
• Smile – Smile and the world smiles with you.  Start small, start NOW and kick in to action the ripples of change.

Numerology of your Personal Year

Everything in creation ebbs and flows in cycles – Night & Day, the Seasons, our yearly Solar Cycle and our greater 225 million year Galactic Cycle…. and all of these cycles fall within the Great Cosmic Breath of life.

When you understand the natural flow of our own Personal Cycles you release the need to force EVERY year to be about dynamic growth and physical gain (eg the accumulation of financial abundance).  Instead, you open yourself to wholistic growth and abundance… a growth and highest expression of your emotional, mental & spiritual states of beingness.

It doesn’t mean that you are enslaved to your Personal Years any more than you are enslaved to Universal Years. But rather, when you read the energy of your Personal Year in alignment with the Universal Year for 2017, you can work with the Rhythm and Flow of your life’s cycles, rather than get ‘burn-out’ by swimming against the tide. You are empowered to make decisions that flow with the rhythm of the universe through the BluePrint of your Soul and the greater divine plan of the unfoldment of Creation through you.

To calculate the energy of your Personal Year, simply take your day of birth, add it to your month of birth and add it to the current year – adding all the individual digits together. If the sum of these digits comes to a double digit (eg 34), then add these digits together to reduce the number to a single digit (eg 3 + 4 = 7).

For example, I am born on the 27 November (11th month), thus in numerological terms in 2017, I am in a personal ‘3’ year:
2 + 7 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 7 = 21  and 2 + 1 = 3

PERSONAL YEAR 1:
Keywords: New Beginnings, Rebirth, Start of a New Cycle
This year represents new beginnings as you step into a whole new 9 year cycle of growth and evolution. You feel vital, enthusiastic and motivated as you set new goals and visions for this new cycle of your life. You have gained much wisdom from the previous cycle and you now have the choice to put this wisdom into practice in this next cycle. A Personal 1 year is not just about setting the foundations for this whole new cycle but it is also about taking action and physically planting the seeds in order to birth opportunities over the next 9 years.

PERSONAL YEAR 2:
Keywords: Patience, Decisions, Rhythm
A Personal 2 year is about relationships, alliances and making choices. After all that enthusiasm of your Personal 1 year, you may find a Personal 2 year frustrating as it can appear from the outside to be fraught with delays, obstacles and much waiting ! After ‘planting the seed’ in Year 1 it started to bear roots and create foundations, then in Year 2 the ‘seed starts to grow’ with the shoot breaking into ‘2’ and sprouting leaves. Suddenly you are in a position to begin to see the physical expression of your Personal Year 1 choices – and hence is a year of reflection and understanding ‘what will it take to make this 9 year plant grow’. You may have to adjust your visions, meet new people to aid you in your goals, network with like minded souls or even make changes in yourself… this is a year of choice and the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

PERSONAL YEAR 3:
Keywords: Fun, Joy, Celebrating Wins
As the saying goes ‘all good things come in 3’s’… thus in a Personal 3 year you will begin to see some ‘wins’ in your life as all that envisioning in Year 1 and then choices you made in Year 2 will begin to pay off in Year 3. In a Personal 3 year you will have that air of confidence that can make you alluring to others, thus things may tend to fall into your lap this year – be it in business, relationships or your finances. However, be aware not to say ‘YES’ to everything, as you may end the year on burnout or overload. Use your charm this year to delegate and free up time to play and celebrate the wins… and if you can ‘bank’ all of that ‘gold finger’ energy, as you may need it in the next year.

PERSONAL YEAR 4:
Keywords: Responsibility, Karma, Hard Work
How you choose to align with this year will determine whether you will experience a year of Grace & Ease or find a Personal 4 year to be the year from hell !!! A personal 4 year is your time to make good on all your commitments from your Personal 3 year and take responsibility by walking your talk. It is an opportunity to reflect on your patterns and how these maybe molded from old beliefs, opinions of others or possibly even playing out stories of past lives. This is a year of ‘growing up’, being prepared to break the cycles of old and all that is not working and make fresh decisions from a place of higher purpose and highest soul potential. This is a ‘roll your sleeves up’ type of year and getting down to work… how committed are you really to your goals that you made in Personal Year 1 ?

PERSONAL YEAR 5:
Keywords: Freedom, Travel, Adventure… and did I mention FREEDOM !
After all that introverted self-analysis and hard work within your Personal 4 year, you will find that all that dedicated nose to the grindstone stuff has paid off… and in actual fact you may have discovered that the only person waving that big stick is you ! What a discovery to make, that you are actually FREE to make CHOICES about your own life and you are not bound by the thoughts, opinions or beliefs of others. This is a year to put this new found freedom to work and go travelling, make new friends, seek out new adventures and ditch the routine.

PERSONAL YEAR 6:
Keywords: Lovers, Family, Home, Heart
After expressing all that freedom in your Personal 5 year, you may come to release that there is no place like home… and that home is where the heart is. A Personal 6 year is about blossoming all of your Heart connections… committing to an existing relationship, or ending a stagnant relationship to open the golden door of opportunity for a new relationship to blossom. You may feel guided to spend much more time with family and friends, forgiveness may be a big lesson for you this year. This is a great year to get engaged, married or start a family.. and new friendships made this year will often be for life. You may also be guided to build the heart of your home or business, nesting and being of service to others.

PERSONAL YEAR 7:
Keywords: Introverted, Mystic, Self-Awareness & Improvement
A Personal 7 year is the opportunity to really self-reflect on yourself as a ‘Soul having a Physical experience’ and to psycho-analyse (ouch, that sounds ominous)… just what that means to you. Who are you on planet Earth ? Does your life add value to the world ? Do you make a difference ? This is a big year of facing some truths, going within and seeking answers to some of the big questions. This is a year to find out how you can be the ‘alchemist’ and manifest your dreams for not only your highest purpose but for the highest good of all. You may be guided this year to spend more time by yourself, travel outside of your local area or even take up a new course of study.

PERSONAL YEAR 8:
Keywords: ‘As Above, So Below’ & Polarity
In an 8 Personal year everything appears to be magnified… thus what you focus your attention on this year you will receive more of. In an 8 Personal Year you will tend to have that certain je ne sais quoi, that intangible quality that makes you desirable and attractive to others… it is up to you whether you flaunt it or stick you head in the sand and hide it ! When you focus positively on abundance in finances, career & wealth this year… expect returns to flow much more easily this year. But of course, if you go into the poverty stricken ‘woe is me’, well you will truly manifest that reality and have a most woeful year on record. You have the potential of the ‘midas touch’ this year, the world is your oyster should you choose believe in yourself.

PERSONAL YEAR 9:
Keywords: Completion, Service, End of a Cycle
I personally LOVE a Personal Year 9, as it is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on your 9 year journey, review all of your experiences and wisdoms gained and make decisions on how you will choose to commencing the next year in a new cycle. It is a great year to also share your experiences with others in service, offering pearls of wisdom from your journey. For some, a Personal 9 year can be a little irritating as if the ‘shoes do not fit’ anymore and you just want to make a leap into the next Personal Year 1, as you feel a disconnection with the last 9 year cycle and just want to pursue new aspirations and visions for your life. Breathe, be and rest and recuperate this year… enjoy the fruits of all you efforts from your ‘seed planting’ in the past Year 1, and then take the seeds from your fruits and use these to start your Personal 1 year in the next cycle.  Remember, it is important to tie up all loose ends in a 9 year, reflect and embrace all you have learnt, practice forgiveness and let go of all that is no longer needed in readiness for your subsequent Personal 1 year.
