The personal planets – Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus & Mars – move quickly through the Zodiac and represent our individual personal characteristics and experiences. Please refer to our Celestial Transit Table for 2019, for an overview of monthly transits.
The outer planets – Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune & Pluto – take a much longer time to transit the Sun, hence they shape the big picture themes of our lives. Please find below a key summary of outer planetary transits during 2019 & how their celestial vibrations will influence our lives this year.
8 November 2018 to 4 December 2019
12 Years to transit the Zodiac
Jupiter (abundance, luck & expansion) will move into into Sagittarius (freedom, leadership, adventure, spiritual, optimistic) on the 8 November 2018. When Jupiter transits a sign, it ‘expands’ the energy/theme of that sign. Jupiter rules Sagittarius so is naturally at home in this in this sign, so the ripples are felt quite strongly in our lives.
Over the next 13 months of Jupiter’s transit of Sagittarius, all areas of our lives will be expanded, up for discussion, ready for movement. Sagittarius yearns to explore, travel, learn new things & make sense of a spiritual life in a physical world. She can be restless, fun-loving & craves freedom to move & be herself. As Jupiter expands her energy, the next 13 months will be a time of expanding our view of our lives – our work, our relationships, our knowledge/wisdom – and let go of constriction, parts of ourselves we have kept small. There will be a drive to learn from other cultures, embrace a wider understanding of beliefs/life choices and find out how YOU can make the world more beautiful by being uniquely you. You may find your have a deep calling to travel, study in far-off places, or have the world come to you by studying online. Sag is optimistic, honest, has a strong moral ethic and an unquivering belief in magick. So during this transit we may enter a deep search and discover ways of how we can change our lives in order to experience joy, more meaningful work, fulfilling relationships and live to the beat of our drum – taking our knowledge of the world & our lives and experiencing its higher octave of wisdom.
Reflect on where you were in your life in 2007 when Jupiter last transited through Sagittarius. What did you plant in your life at that time, what knowledge did you transform into wisdom? On a global scale, 2007 experienced major breakthroughs in web technology for learning & sharing. I remember running my first global webinars during 2007 (you may recall my free global Wave of Love 21 day activation series) and wikipedia (which was officially launched in 2001), doubled in size in 2007. So now, 12 years later with Jupiter in back in Sag, anticipate a major upscale and expansion of web-education-technology during 2019… combined with a deep yearning for people to want to study & learn online.
20 December 2017 to 21 March 2020
29.5 Years to transit the Zodiac
Saturn (life lessons, wisdom, karma, responsibility) moved into Capricorn (practical, realist, reliable, hard worker) on the 20 December 2017. Saturn takes approximate 29.5 years to transit the Zodiac and hence spends on average 2-1/2 years in each sign. The last time that Saturn was in Capricorn was in 1988-1991 – think back to that time and what was happening in your life or what were the themes back then… as Saturn will be pushing you to address these themes once more (hopefully from a greater awareness/consciousness this time !). Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn so the two do complement each other, even though their energy can be experienced a little differently. During this Saturn transit, it is a great time to get real and be truly honest with yourself re your work/career, financial plan and every other facet of your life including relationships. There are no short-cuts with this transit, no quick fixes or easy way outs… this is a transit that compels us to create a plan, ensure EVERY area of our life is brought into balance (that includes self-care) and then to use this solid and harmonised foundation to truly flourish. Saturn is here is a teacher and Capricorn is ready and willing to learn and gain clarity of how to move beyond challenges and show up for life from a place of self-responsibility.. and self-love.
17 April 2018 to 14 April 2027
49-51 Years to transit the Zodiac
Chiron (wounded healer) moves into Aries (Leader, impatient, risk taker) in April 2018.
Chiron transits the full Zodiac every 50 or so years. The last two transits of Chiron in Aries: 1919 to 1927 saw the end of WWI, and then 1968 to 1976 the make love not war movement. The theme of Chiron as she transits Aries for 8 years is a humbling of the human spirit – to surrender our ego will & be uplifted by Divine Will. Aries is strong, dynamic & forceful – and through Chiron she is driven to fight for LOVE, HEALING, COMPASSION & EMPATHY and be a force of good within the world. She sees a world more beautiful and takes her core wounding to a higherplace – to serve not just herself, but also nature, the Earth & humanity. During this time new leaders will emerge who are ready to step out of the old ways of the world and be pioneers of co-creating a new era for Earth. Spiritual warriors who are humble, visionary, altruistic and fierce in their vision of uniting our world through the Heart.
15 May 2018 to 27 April 2026
84 Years to transit the Zodiac
Uranus (rebellion, freedom, unconventional, technological advancement, humanitarianism) moves into Taurus (patient, pleasure-loving, material, determined, conservative) in May 2018. So what happens when Uranus transits Taurus for 7 years ? Well these two clash and make some hell of a ruckus… leading to radical changes in the bigger themes of our lives! When Uranus the planet of revolutionary growth / awakening unites with the Taurean vibe of comfort, security and conservatism… Uranus wants change NOW & Taurus doesn’t want to budge… well life as we know it can get turned upside down, inside out in the blink of an eye. Expect the unexpected in the months and years to come with the clash of these two titans yielding change whether we like it or not!

165 Years to transit the Zodiac
Neptune (Illusion, deception, creativity) moved into Pisces (Sensitive, psychic, dreamy, creative, charitable) in April 2011. The last time Neptune entered Pisces was in 1848, three years after it was discovered in 1845. Neptune in Pisces in it’s fullest potential is an awakening to the DIVINE from within. It fosters a movement beyond materialism / consumerism and the foundations of religious dogma. Neptune in Pisces fosters spiritual transformation. This energy provides a potential for humanity to expand beyond perceived limitations through dedicated spiritual practice and to find AUTHENTIC TRUTH. Allow your IMAGINATION to SEE beyond the illusion and awaken to living with Spirit through heart-n-soul.
26 Jan 2008 to 21 January 2024
248 Years to transit the Zodiac
Pluto (transformation & empowerment) moved into Capricorn (Practical, realist, reliable, hard worker) in Jan 2008. Pluto was in Sagittarius prior to moving into Capricorn, where it had been transiting since 1995. Pluto was last in Capricorn Nov 1762 until Dec 1778. Heralding transformation, Pluto in Capricorn is about death and rebirth or endings and beginnings. It is a time of breaking down all old outdated structures… structures that embody power & control such as governments, corporations & religion. This dismantling then creates opportunities to rebuild solid foundations from the ground up and inside-out… structures that support communities, humanity and the sustainable life of this planet.
