New Moon in Capricorn Energy

New Moons are all about setting intentions for the forthcoming cycle… how perfect then that our LAST NEW MOON for the year falls in the Zodiac sign of CAPRICORN.  CAPRICORN New Moon is practical, hardworking and willing to put in the hard-yards to achieve goals.   Hence as December comes to a close, not only are we saying goodbye to the close of the year, but we are also feeling into the start of 2020, setting our intentions for a whole new decade !

When the Moon & Sun were in Sagittarius last month, the energy was more visionary and bringing our conscious connection with our ideals of what we wish to be/become… connecting with the feeling.  This helped to anchor our feelings through the Galactic Alignment on the 19 December 2019… resonating the liquid crystal sound waves out into the Cosmos.

Now that our Sun has moved into Capricorn, it is about taking those visions and making them practical.. make a plan, set the goals, put your head down and do the work.. and make it real !   What a great start to 2020!!!  

There are many stellar bodies also influencing our December New Moon… PLUTO & SATURN are sitting beside each other getting ready for their EXACT CONJUNCTION on the 10/11 January 2020 – staring the beginning of a whole new 30 year cycle – I will be writing an entire article about this in early 2020.   But for now…

Pluto weaves transformation & Saturn is often referred to as the planet of karma, discipline or the dispenser of justice. Pluto in Capricorn is about death and rebirth or endings and beginnings. It is a time of breaking down all old outdated structures that have become dinosaurs of enlightened living.  We may experience turmoil in industry’s were power & money have been used as tools of control – such as governments, big corps & banking industry.  Saturn in Capricorn is a time to get REAL & be truly honest with yourself – there are no shortcuts – create a PLAN and use this solid foundation to flourish.  No more excuses… JUST DO IT!!!

A Solar Eclipse feels like a mega-amplified New Moon.  We are being are being guided to powerful new beginnings and a deeper conscious understanding that each and everyone of us create powerful ripples of change within the field with our EVERY thought, word & deed.

Annular Solar Eclipse Energy

Our December New Moon is an Annular Solar Eclipse – the third and final Solar Eclipse of 2019 – though the only Annular Solar Eclipse… I will explain what an Annular Eclipse is in a minute!

Solar Eclipses occur on the New Moon, whereby the Moon moves between the Earth and Sun, obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun – hence the Sun, Moon & Earth are in a straight line.

The energy of a Solar Eclipse ‘obscures’ our vision forward, such that we can take time to reflect on the present and truthfully see how this relates to our past. The insights gained are not about dragging up old energy, or reliving painful events or experiences, but rather to positively reassess where you have been and use this knowledge to make quantum leaps on your path moving forward.

A Solar Eclipse feels like a mega-amplified New Moon and can be been VERY intense.  But (and there is always a but) also has the potential to be wildly transformational… should we choose to surrender to the eclipses greater potential.

Well to be honest, Eclipses have the effect of pushing you to transform… and the choice comes into being as to whether you choose to transform the hard way (ie kicking & screaming) or surrender to a grander version of yourself with grace & ease !

Remember this Annular Solar Eclipse occurs in Capricorn… it is practical… so maybe not let your emotions get too carried away this New Moon, instead connect with the Earth, ground, breath in nature… and let the transformation into 2020 begin!

What is An Annular Solar Eclipse ?

An Annular Solar Eclipse is where the Sun appears behind the Moon as a very bright ring of light (an annulus or ring of fire) around the dark disk of the Moon, as the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun.  From the vantage point of Earth, during our December Annular Solar Eclipse the moon will cover up to 80% of the Sun.

Whilst this eclipse is extraordinarily powerful, it doesn’t have to be a horrendous experience of loss, despair, struggle and inner-turmoil.  You have a choice to experience this eclipse with a heightened or awakened vision of divine potential
