I love the heartening energy too of our Full Moon Eclipse, which is also our WESAK FULL MOON. As the veil between worlds thins on the Wesak Full Moon, our inner-pilot-lights are illuminated with a higher possibility for ourselves & humanity. Our inner-sight bursts wide open with sacred awe of what is truly possible as the LIGHT of a new world becomes more & more tangible with each breath. Full Moon in Scorpio
With the Moon in SCORPIO & SUN in TAURUS, our May 2022 Full Moon potentiates the energy of taking responsibility for what is happening around you and on the Earth today…. the questions that may come up for you are:
Why do I allow myself to be a victim ?
Why do I blame others for my own condition ?
Why do I allow myself to feel powerless ?
With the Sun in Taurus we are wanting to anchor the divine energies available to us at this time and make a commitment to ourselves for self-responsibility and growth. Conversely, the moon in Scorpio intensifies the energies, getting us in contact with our feelings and emotions… intuitively you know why the last few months (or maybe even last couple of years) have been difficult/challenging for you !
Wesak Full Moon embodies compassion & kindness… so remember to imbue those energies for yourself as the planets awaken you to the hard facts of exactly WHY each of us are in the position we are in… and that we have the choice to make the change. With these intense energies, the next two weeks maybe turbulent for some as we reassess what it is we feel in our heart, what is important to us and any issues in our lives which are not congruent with our heartfelt feelings.
With Mercury moving Retrograde, a few days before the eclipse, we may flow very deep into darker recesses of our psyche, arriving at a place that questions our soulful paths. Are we truly being voices of truth, or are we hiding away from the world through fear of what other people think about us ?
My advice is to not struggle internally with these feelings. Allow yourself time for quiet reflection. Maybe even spend a little time chatting to a beloved friend who you entrust to ‘talk things through’, without fear of shame or judgement.
Total Lunar Eclipse – Blood Moon
Lunar Eclipses & Solar Eclipses come in pairs, and you may recall a couple of weeks ago we had a Partial Solar Eclipse whereby the Moon moved between the Earth and Sun, partly obscuring Earth’s view of the Sun. Plus this Solar Eclipse was the first of our Taurus-Scorpio Eclipse pairings— changing the points of reference for our lives.
Now on our 16 May FULL Moon, we have our TOTAL Lunar Eclipse– whereby the Earth passes between the Sun & the Moon, blocking the Suns rays from FULLY reaching the Moon… thus the Moon will be fully cast within Earth’s shadow.
Here is a map of who will be able to see the eclipse (sorry Australian friends, we miss out)… but essentially part/total eclipse may be seen from parts of South/West Europe, South/West Asia, Africa, Much of North America, South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Antarctica.
For those able to see the TOTAL Lunar Eclipse, the Moon will appear red— which is why it is also referred to as a BLOOD MOON. During the alignment of the Sun, Earth & Moon, light from the Sun glimmers through Earth’s atmosphere (atmosphere extends approximately 80km above the Earth) & the green-to-blue light of the visible light spectrum is filtered out, giving way to the deeper orangey-red tones of the spectrum. This reddish light is then refracted to the surface of the Moon. Amazing huh!
Energetically during our Total Lunar Eclipse, as the Moon is fully sitting in Earth’s shadow (ie unable to reflect the I AM Light of the Sun), a window opens and we are drawn into ourselves, the part that we don’t show to the world, the emotional and deepest part of our psyche. The word ECLIPSE comes from the Greek word “ekleipsis” meaning “to abandon, to leave, to vanish” – and that’s exactly what we may experience during a Lunar Eclipse – the desire to surrender and let go of parts of our self that limit our greater potential.
A Lunar Eclipse provides a powerful opportunity to release deep-seated wounds, move beyond old fears and to transcend negative patterns or traits within the shadow self. It is time to ECLIPSE anything that maybe holding you back.
Wesak Full Moon
Our Scorpio Full Moon is also our Wesak Full Moon for 2022. The Wesak Full Moon is the light of the Moon in Scorpio reflecting the light of the Sun in Taurus. Wesak Full Moon is the second of three powerful Full Moons for the year. Together they form a trinity, a sacred trine of potential for birthing heart-n-soul vision into physical form.
During the Wesak Taurus Full Moon, Divine Rays of LOVE bathe the Earth flooding our Hearts with Compassion & Kindness. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the spiritual ruler of Earth. Venus represents the Divine Feminine – the Mother Mary (May is the Month of Mary). During the Wesak Full Moon it is said that a divine Pentagram of Venusian Light opens a portal to Shambhala (the number 11 in numerology) through our Hearts.
We are called upon on the Wesak Full Moon to SURRENDER and simply receive the LIGHT (11 in numerology), the ENERGY (11 in numerology) & HEALING (11 in numerology). We then emerge from the Wesak Full Moon in an awakened state of WISDOM (11 in numerology) & ENLIGHTENMENT (11 in numerology) = 11:11

The Goodwill Full Moon (Sun in Gemini) creates the aetheric divine pattern in order for the sacred vision to be manifest in physical form.

Wesak is an opportunity for humanity to come together in Heart Quintessence and be of service to self, each other and Mother Earth. Whilst Wesak is traditionally a Buddhist practice, I feel that the celebration of Wesak is Universal as it focuses on what connects us – LOVE.
During this high-point of the year our greatest service is to prepare ourselves spiritually for the energy pouring into humanity, and to hold the inner connection in daily life, visualizing ourselves as a pure channel of light in alignment with the keynote of Taurus: I see, and when the eye is opened, all is Light. Full Moon Potential
Our May Lunar Eclipse Wesak Full Moon is about conceiving a NEW WORLD through us. Many areas of our life will (and certainly are) being challenged as we move away from outsourcing the flow of our lives to others. Self-responsibility is being activated, taking a good hard look at our lives and truly acknowledging where/why we are at— and from that place being the solutions of WHAT we can do to embody heart & soul change.
With Jupiter moving in Aries days before our Full Moon, the first time in 12 years, we are getting a taste of what that it feels like to expansively dive into new ventures in our life with courage & optimism. Leaps of faith are called for, and the planets and giving us a push! Jupiter in Aries is about NEW beginnings, new opportunities, adventurously diving into new ventures with courage & optimism. Aries is an independent initiator, and Jupiter in Aries will have us take that leap of faith and enact upon our spiritual guidance.
The Nodes of our Moon have also shifted this year (I talk more of Nodes in Aetheric Healing™), into a Taurus (north node) and Scorpio (south node) axis. This shift + Eclipse activation— is really driving the crumbing death of the old— old values, harboured painful memories, relationships that have run their course. There is no fighting the change, there is just a choice to gracefully draw upon your inner-resources to work with the changes, or fight it to the end and possibly end up in a foetal position on the floor. I feel the former sounds a wee bit easier!
Needing a little healing balm for those painful wounds? Venus (planet of love) & Chiron (wounded healer) are conjuncting this Full Moon. This duo will provide some soothing relief to the heart, and help heal soulful contracts that have come to an end.
Above all, this Full Moon is about accessing that brave warrior and choosing to walk the path of courage and soulful faith. Miracles are unfolding, but it is up to us to make the space to enable them to flourish. Let it go, let all of those old soul contracts and parts of your life that belong to the old story of the world. YES it is daunting as we walk into the unknown, yet it is the only way through.
A new world is now being conceived by many – it is being actively looked for, and when the eye of the soul is opened, it will be seen to be more real than the world that is revealed by the five senses.
