Full Moon Ceremony Grid – August 18, 2016

The mid-point of our 29 day lunar cycle is marked by the Full Moon. During a Full Moon, the Moon is sitting opposite the Sun and is fully illuminated as it reflects the light of the Sun.

The Moon & the Sun emanate frequencies and these energy waves influence the tides, and all life forms on Earth, including human behaviour & consciousness. In addition, during a Full Moon, both the Moon & Sun are opposing each other on opposite sides of the zodiac… which can make for a challenging or intense aspect of energy but also a very potent potential as the Lunar & Solar (yin & yang) are in natural harmonic balance.

The SUN represents our ‘outer-world’, our identify, our personality, our ego. It represents how we ‘shine our light’ out into the world, the present moment, our yang or masculine archetype expression. The Sun offers us strength, courage and illuminated insight of the Soul.

The MOON represents our ‘inner world’, our hidden emotions, desires, our shadow-self, fears/worries and our dreams. It represents our feelings, our unconscious beliefs, the past and our yin or feminine goddess archetype. The Moon offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence.

From New Moon to Full Moon, the Moon ‘waxes’, gradually increasing in light and intensity. Just as the moon grows in light, so do we… our own inner-light shines brighter and more luminescent as we awaken to a greater truth and grow spiritually. Then as the Full Moon reaches its peak it is a time of celebration, a time to share our new found wisdom & love with others and a time to let go of aspects of self that no longer serve.

The Full Moon is a great time to connect in sacred ritual/ceremony and connect with the light of the Moon. The Lunar Light amplifies our intuition, gifts us insight through our dreams and deeply inspires us to be of greatest service. This Light also provides a catalyst to let go, release out-dated beliefs and transmute aspects of self that are no-longer in alignment with your illuminated beauty of Soul.

Moon in AQUARIUS & Sun in LEO
Moon – past, Intuition, unconscious, emotions, nurturing, feelings
Sun – now, Identity, consciousness, self-esteem, expression
Aquarius (Air) – Humanitarian, determined, individualistic, rebellious, independant
Leo (Fire) – Leader, affectionate, generous, outgoing, stubborn, authoritative

Our August Full Moon in Aquarius is reflecting the light of the Sun in Leo.

What a great energy this will be to get out of your stuff ‘woe is me’, ‘life is so hard’ etc.. and take the focus off yourself and really look at the bigger picture of creation.

You have the power to use your thoughts, words, energy, actions to creating enduring and peaceful change on this planet… this is time to take ownership and responsibility of what the word SERVICE really means.

Leo brings in leadership, inspiration and a firey ‘go-gettum’ attitude whilst Aquarius offers energy in innovation, the bigger picture of humanity and the expression of ‘how may I serve’.

What a sacred gift is this Full Moon to be inspired to see beyond your perceived limitations and embrace a higher vision through Soul Purpose.

Interestingly… this Full Moon we will experience an ‘almost, but not quite ‘Lunar Eclipse‘. My astro program showed that whilst the Sun, Earth & Moon are in alignment (perfect scenario for a Lunar Eclipse), the Moon will not move through Earth’s shadow (the Moon is only just outside of Earths shadow)… hence no Eclipse will be visible on Earth (I also confirmed this on TimeandDate).

So we have a little time to breathe before our September 1 & 16/17 – Solar & Lunar Eclipses. Stay tuned for more about this next month.

FULL MOON – Crystal Ceremony Grid

The Full Moon is a great time to connect in sacred ritual/ceremony and connect with the light of the Moon.

You can consciously work with the Light of the Full Moon to amplify your intuition, receive insight through your dreams/meditation and awaken to a greater vision of self and your gifts of service. The Full Moon Lunar Light also provides a catalyst to let go, release out-dated beliefs and transmute aspects of self that are no-longer in alignment with your illuminated beauty of Soul.

I recommend that you download either of my Full Moon Ceremony Grid (simply click on the image/s below) and save to your phone/table or print the grid on an A4/US Letter sheet of paper … such that you are ready to connect with the energy of the Ceremony Grid on our Full Moon.

Sharing with you some ideas of how you could incorporate this Full Moon Ceremony Grid into your own Full Moon Ritual/Ceremony.

In the days leading up to the Full Moon, collect items from nature (crystals, minerals, rocks, flowers, leaves, seeds) or what ever calls to you for your Full Moon ceremony.
Crystals LOVE to be cleansed and recharged under the light of the Full Moon… so tune in and ‘ask’ your crystals if they would like a moon bath too !
On the day of the Full Moon, commence your Ceremony by Lighting a Candle and honouring your connection with the elements – Earth, Fire, Air, Water & Aether/Spirit. You may also like to embrace my Galactic Heart Breathing Meditation.
Lay out your Full Moon Ceremony Grid (either your phone/tablet or your printed page) and then intuitively place on/around the grid your items from nature. Add your crystals to the grid too as they will amplify the energy of your intentions.
Now breathe into the Heart (the centre) of your Grid and through your breath take a moment to acknowledge your light & see the beauty of your Soul.
Have gratitude for wisdoms gained & your spiritual growth since the last New Moon
Be kind to yourself, let go of any harsh or hurtful thoughts or feelings… EVERYTHING in life is an opportunity for growth, allow the Full Moon to inspire you to be this grandest version of the greatest vision you ever had for yourself.
Now breathe and let go of all that no longer serves you in your life. You may feel guided to right down on paper that which you are choosing to release and then burn the paper in the flame to acknowledge its transmutation.
Offer a final blessing of Gratitude & Thanks and open your heart and share the LOVE out into the world. Ask that the luminescent Lunar Light of the Full Moon warms the heart of those in need, gifting blessings filled with compassion, kindness and enduring peace.
To bring the ceremony to a close, as you blow out your candle say with heart-felt intent ‘And it is So’.
After the Ceremony you may wish to take a bath with Essential Oils and/or Essences (I recommend my Golden Quantum Essence) and bask the in Lunar Energy from the inside out.
Then when you go to bed on the Full Moon, ask that your dreams guide and inspire you to see the greater vision of self and your gifts of service over the next couple of weeks in the lead up to the New Moon (and our 1 September 2016 Solar Eclipse !).

The next day, you may wish to place your items from nature on a Altar as a sacred reminder of your Full Moon intentions… or I prefer to gift mine back to nature (I release them to the Ocean) as a way of releasing my need to control and allow the tides of source to bring my intentions into physical form.
