Do you ever wonder where words come from ?    I think about things like this all the time.  Words hold energy, they shape our lives and drive our behaviours – both conscious and unconscious.

With the word COVID-19 dominating the mind-highways of 2020 (a year of 20-20 vision), I couldn’t help but think about the ‘bigger’ picture of this name and the etymology of its derivatives.    

Sacred Union, Oneness

Looking at the three main components of CO-VID-19, I discovered something VERY interesting…

Putting all of this together, another way to experience this COVID-19 moment is one of coming TOGETHER in sacred UNION with each other.   To rise up to a more sacred experience of life, and be an active part of an uprising of a new story of ONENESS.

A Greater Possibility

We are all however experiencing this moment differently.  I think the fear of death does that, it has a way to cloud judgement and dissolve rational critical thinking into reptilian-brain survival mode.

There is certainly a cloak of madness at this time.   People fearing other people.  ‘Dobbing in’ someone who flouts ‘the rules’.  Shaming.  Cruel behaviour.  The air feels thick with dis-ease of the mind.  Whilst ‘Staying Apart Keeps us Together’ sounds like a quote out of the dystopian novel 1984, it is in fact a REAL quote adopted for ‘managing coronavirus together’ here in Australia.

But there is also a most benevolent paralleled tendency unfolding.  I am witnessing more and more every day, a movement away from the mind and into the Heart.  A freeing of the mind from the domesticated chains of civil programming, an awakening of the Soul to new heights of freedom.

Times are Golden

Following on from Osho’s quote above, he also goes onto say…

“Times of crisis are both dangerous and immensely important. They are dangerous for those who have no courage to explore new dimensions of life. They are bound to disintegrate into different kinds of madness, because their minds were made by the society. Now the society is disintegrating, the mind cannot remain; its roots are in the society. It is constantly nourished by the society. Now that nourishment is disappearing.

But times of crisis are of tremendous significance for those daring souls who have never bothered about society’s respectability, its honors; who have never bothered about what others think about them, but have done only that which they felt right to do; who have in a certain way always been rebellious, individualistic. For those people the times of crisis are just golden, because the society is disintegrating. Now it cannot condemn anybody – it is itself condemned, cursed. It cannot say to others that they are wrong. It is itself proving wrong; its whole wisdom is proving just foolish, superstitious.

So I don’t think this crisis is bad; it is good. A few people will lose their masks, and will be actually what they are – neurotic, psychotic – but at least they will be true and they will be honest. You may think they are mad; they are not mad, they are simply in a state of very great surprise. They have believed in the old mind too much, and it betrayed them.

If the new mind can prevail then life can become an enlightening process. Enlightenment will not be something rare, that happens once in a while to somebody very special; it will become a very ordinary human experience, that only once in a while some really idiotic person misses.”

COVID-19 and LOVE

I do believe in my Heart that enLIGHTenment is possible… cause at the very Heart of ALL of us is the power of LOVE.  

Whilst I looked at the individual components of the word COVID-19 at the beginning of this post, putting all of the letters/numbers together they resonate to the number 9 in numerology.

The 9 vibration holds the resonance of service and humanitarian pursuits,  the desire to share your knowledge/gifts/personal insights with the world. The 9 vibration pulls you away from focussing on the energy of the ‘me’ pursuit of your personal goals and instead draws you toward the energy of ‘we’ and fostering change on a global scale.

The following words resonate to the number ‘9’ in numerology and these words help to maybe paint a more Heartfull potential of COVID-19

• Service = 9
• Opportunity = 9
• Expansion = 9
• Divine = 9
• Free Will = 9
• Tools = 9
• Inspire = 9
• Archangel Jophiel = 9  (Essence of Angels® – transition from fear to love)
• Forgive = 9
• Grateful = 9
• Love = 9

So here’s to freeing the mind and stepping into the the enLIGHTenment of Heart-n-Soul as we navigate this transformational time together.
